Sorry IH, i thought it was a double "of" that needed to be corrected, and in the latest version it is still there.Industrial Helix wrote:Fixed the double be in the letter....

Wow... how long has that gone unnoticed.Riazor wrote:In the legend, it says "Conn. - Conneticut" but shouldnt that be Connecticut?

Eh, I can mess with it to see if I get anything better. But I think its best to keep it rather subdued like the rest of the map.jefjef wrote:Nice. Almost looks like a tattoo but nice.
Whats with that color variations on the flag? Brighter flag coloring would look really good too.

Whoops. I deleted it on my version, you'll see the fix next update.isaiah40 wrote:On the large map you still have one sea dot from Boston to Cape Cod on Cape Cod. Small looks good,, flag looks much better and the eagle on the mini-map is an A++ in my book!
Yeah, these numbers are just jpegs and not actual tests, when its XML time I will straighten them out.fumandomuerte wrote:Wow, that flag is amazing.
You're still aligning the troop containers of the galeons to 888's, but I believe that the stardard way is with 88's.

I might experiment with it to see if I can make it battle worn though really, I have no idea what I'm doing. I lifted it off of some 18th c. painting, so I think it might be stuck the way it is. We'll see.jefjef wrote:That flag is more fitting. Nice. How about maybe a little battle torn/tattered. Might look pretty cool.

Yeah, I agree about the Live Free or Die thing. Redbaron suggested it and I'm willing to whore out the map to just get the thing passed, lol. I'll see if I can find anything different to go there (I wish I could remove that tea stamp from its paper).MrBenn wrote:Looking very very good
The flag finally feels like it belongs on the map.
The "Live Free or Die" monogram feels a bit Hells Angel-esque - I have no idea whether or not it's from the right period - I'm assuming it was relevant during the Revolutionary War?
Connecticut is the only abbreviation on the map? Is there any chance you could shift the names on the minimap to get the full word in there? If you can do that, then you could probably drop the "Conn - Connecticut" line at the bottom, and make do with some sort of XML naming like it instead.
No problem. I really don't care either way. Do you really think its from that time period? I presumed that since the Eagle wasn't the nation's bird until after the war that it might be an after thought. At best, from the same general time period.the.killing.44 wrote:Please do not remove the live free… thing. Looks epic and is most indubitably from that time period.
