Now its over.. I expected a lot more from Carson, I think you gotta put the loss on him today.

Oh well

P.S. It aint that hard to go with teams like Indy/San Diego/New Orleans. so get off your high horse

I didn't pick any of those teams. None of them are playing this week.

That was an absolutely pathetic performance by the Bengals. The only thing worse was having to listen to Joe Theismann call the game.

The season was doomed from the beginning when we franchised our KICKER. WTF!

I'm sure the Broncos are out there playing someplace,
after all it is Saturday night.

An impressive first half for the Cowboys =D>
with one positive play for the Eagles.

Ochocinco was held to under 35 yards this game, just like 6 days ago. Revis Island marooned him!

Also, props to rookie Sanchez and rookie Rex Ryan for their playoff win in a rookie year!

This is absolutely NOT the same old Jets. Cincy fans, I'm not sure you have anything to be ashamed of. Your team played their hearts out, that was obvious, but the Jets do have the number 1 defense and the number 1 rush offense.

Don't forget the famous Joe Paterno quote (which I'll paraphrase) of "give me an offense to keep me in the game and my defense will win it."

As Rex Ryan demonstrated when he was the defensive coordinator on the Superbowl championship Baltimore Ravens team, he knows this adage well.

All the Jets have done is earn the right to play another game. I can't wait.

Hehe

All you chumps who were berating the Cowboys at the beginning of the season. They're now dominating the Eagles while the Steelers didn't even get in.

I dunno, it seems every year people pick San Diego and Minnesota for the Super Bowl. My guess is that they're both one and done. Again.

San Diego has won 11 in a row and Minnesota has not lost a home game.
The Jets were fortunate today... Bangles blew it big time.

If the Bengalis actually played out the last games of the season, they would've won this one.

Once Benson got hurt everything changed, They weren't the same team after that. Its frustrating to watch 19 years of bad management decisions. At least I am old enough to remember the 88 Superbowl.

The home games barely sold out, next year there will probably be a waiting list for tickets again and we will go 8-8.

Is the 88 Super Bowl the one where Cincy lost their All Pro center
on the very first series of the game against the 49ers?

Defensive Tackle, Tim Krumrie. Legs aren't supposed to bend that way.

Other Highlights

Stanley Wilson caught with an 8-ball in his hotel room the night before, suspended from game
Lewis Bullups dropped a game winning pick in the end zone
Montana to Taylor with 34 seconds left for the win

That year also gave us Ickey Woods, who is doing well in life now. He owns and coaches this football team

A broken leg can be problematic when trying to compete in a Super Bowl.

Bengals had all the momentum in the world early in the game what happened? They fumbled on their first drive IN FIELD GOAL range and looked like they had a good chance of scoring a touchdown in that drive. Than later they were almost in field goal range and Palmer throws the pick. very untimely turnovers, I admit I kind of fast forwarded through most of the rest of the game but how many field goals did htey miss in the end? including one that normally would have been a gimme?

Cowboys continue to look like a very complete team.

Cincy definitely had opportunities, I lost count of dropped passes
but they gained no points on three field goal attempts.

Three gimme games in a row for the Jets, they will have to work
much harder next week when they visit the Colts.

Kid_A: 2-0 so far ;)
Kid_A wrote:My first round picks, if anyone cares :-)

Patriots over the Ravens: Patriots are the best post season team of the decade and with the best coach in the league they are still contenders without Welker. I was at the Raiders/Ravens game yesterday and the Ravens only beat the Jemarcus Russell Raiders by a touchdown. Not very impressive, though it's always fun to watch Ray Lewis hit people in person.

Jets over the Bengals: Jets have won 5 of their last 6 and are the #1 rushing team in the league and also have the leagues best defense. Their one loss was by a field goal to a good Atlanta team. Bengals Have gone 3-3 in their last 6. Their last 3 wins close ones over the Browns, Lions and Chiefs. They haven't beaten a team with a winning record in almost 2 months.

Cowboys over Eagles: Eagles snapped a 7 game win streak by getting blown out by Dallas and losing the division to them. They cannot win in the post season without a healthy Westbrook. Dallas looks like they're ready for the post season but this will be a close one. I am most excited about this one.

Packers over Cardinals: When their offensive line protects Aaron Rodgers the Packers are an elite team and can beat anyone. Many people do not realize how good Aaron Rodgers is. They have won 7 of their last 8. Their one loss was by 1 point to the defending Superbowl Champs. Arizona isn't as impressive as they were last year and the Packers are the best team in the NFC right now. But post season experience helps a lot and Kurt Warner has plenty.
