i dont think we really need a cheater checker because i think everyone who plays plays with honor, (as far as i can see so far) yeah we mess up and get mad at each other, but in the long run no one really cheated on purpose, as long as everyone knows of the script, most of them will prolly chose to use it since they want to play fair like everyone else.

That would be optimal. If we created a script (I say "we" because "I" have absolutely no idea how to do such a thing) that makes it play AA without having to be hardcoded, then we could get a whole bunch more people in on it. I think the big thing stalling this right now is the fact that we have to play with honour rules and many of our games get botched at some point.

I think the idea was simply that our little community is always striving to improve and make things like AA work better, so we said the next step would be a script for this.

Just wanted to say that tournament is going great, thanks to Jakewilliams' effort. We are enjoying lots of AA games, proving it is a workable and very interesting setting. You can still join the tournament if interested, as it is an open league.
so, just wondering, what are the chances of this gametype actually being implented? i'd love to play some AA games, but if we can expect the gametype to be implented in the next few months i'd rather wait then risk making mistakes with attacking all the time:p

Only lack i suppose would really know that. But you should join the tournament if you want to give it a try!
People can get pretty angry if you ruin a game way into it, but it's really not that hard at all if you've been paying attention for the first few rounds. It's easy to recognize an AA game that you've been playing in for the last days/weeks at a glance.

Lack hasn't officially commented, so I'd say we're at least a year away.
However, in the 2010 Adjacent Attacks Tournament (http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=103112) we have had mostly fair play, with only a few games completely messed up by rule breaking. As the new players become more familiar, the mistakes have gone down. I'd love for you to join the tournament and learn how much fun AA games can be
