I'm always aware when bees are around me. Honey bees, i don't mind so much. If you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. And also, knowing they basically only have one sting in them. But, wasp, yellow jackets, hornets..they always seem like they just want to attack..if one comes near me, I'm ducking, bobbing and weaving, flailing my arms like a little girl. If i am caught in a confined area, if it's in a room with me, i stop what I'm doing until i have destroyed it. I have not been stung for quite some time now, and i want to keep it that way. I definitely remember the feeling of being stung, and looking down to see this bee kinda balled up, just giving it everything they got.
What i hate more than these, are horseflies, and deerflies. Oh my gosh, are they blood thirsty. And relentless. You can't out run them. They will follow you, swarms of them. I don't know what i hate more, being bitten by them, or having them swarming around my head. I know that horseflies are common in many places. Deer Flies are in taiga regions, like the northern USA, and Canada. They make me absolutely insane. Certain times of the year, you just can't go near the woods, or you will be swarmed. If you try to run and get them off you, it only attracts more of them. They have no interest in leaving you alone. They seek you out. They are like mosquitoes on steroids. And the bite, is equal to the pain of a bee sting. They also leave a nice welt on you. I truly despise them, with every fiber of my being.
