Interesting to note that last year the most games on 1 map dropped by an order of magnitude.

Is the lesson here that we all like new maps? Because that seems to be what I'm seeing.

Classic map,its No1 map in all categories, and also they had 2 maps in one time, who all results merge in one,and its normal that have most games completed. Also they have First place in Game finder, even its name start with C,not A. This map its more for pratice, because all people its familiar with this gameplay(well for old version).

so, in one month it passed all other maps for the entire year?

or am i reading this wrong here...ok I see that classic indeed was more played...my guess is by quite a bit...but world overtook everything else.

Are there less overall games played last year than in 2007 and 2008 or are they just that much more spread out?

Qwert has divided this by year created. The total number of games played is not just limited to those years but rather since inception.

Thus, world 2.1 was not played 223754 times in 2006 but SINCE 2006.

And I think most of the players are more familiar with how countries are spelled on Doodle Earth; it makes more sense to them.

And dont forget, its the smallest, so its also the quickest, which would also explain how it could be played the most.

I doubt many would call it their favorite map, but that doesnt stop them from playing it the most.

Could the CC administrators create a large poll requesting everyone's top 3 favorite maps? I would love to see that. And by "favorite maps" I don't mean the ones we play the most, but rather the ones we like to play on the most.

I may be one of the only players who actually LIKES City mogul. I'd be interested to see if other players had City Mogul on their top 3 maps list. Based off of Qwert's analysis I would expect it to be World 2.1, Feudal War and AOR1...But I could be way off!

Well the figures must be slightly skewed as e.g 2.1 has had 3 years to go at and for a lot of that time there was no classic as competition.
Is AOR1 more popular than AOR3? - which I think is far better. Also with the earlier maps there was far less choice so you'd expect them to score higher headline figs.
With Arse doodling and Lux being there since you can play, check out the porno sites n finish before your boss comes out the toilet.

I'd think Feudal, classic,and 2.1 would be top 3.

I like Mogul too but it's not a particularly demanding map. Arms Race, Waterloo and Pelo probably for me.

Qwert maybe now you know everyone loves you and your fine Pelo map you may consider (with maybe tiny neutral change) getting it out of Beta so it can be used in clan challenges / random (?) - where I don't think Beta gets accepted.

What?

What he means to say is classic owns all others by far.... Classic Totals: 1425956 Classic is the only map over a million games. In fact closing in on 1.5 million. Plain and simple people love the map, and it is not for practice. People enjoy it more than any other map by far.
