Its so stupid that some people automatically accuse others of lying just because they say something slightly out of the norm.

What has he got to gain from lying?

My grandad invented polystyrene. Im not lying its the truth. he sold it for far less than he could have but thats because he didnt know its worth.

Now lets watch everyone call me a liar ...

The right answer here is obviously Data. He is the best blend of humor and interesting character history and ability and plot relevance. I don't understand how there can be any kind of dissent on this point.

my uncle was good friends with the guy who patented the current pop top for aluminum cans...previously they came out and were litter and a safety hazzard...he sold it for quite a bit...almost the richest guy ive ever met
