Unfortunately, a lot of time has passed, and we`re well short of number of teams needed for this tournament.

Fortunately, we have exactly enough applicants for top 16, so this year we will start from here.

Another fortunate matter is that tommorow is top 16 draw (in real life:D), so we will be able to copy their groups and schedule.

In real life, there are eight teams that didn`t qualify for top 16: Asvel, Fenerbahce, Rytas, Orleanaise, Roma, Olimpija, Milano and Ewe Baskets. We have applications for Olimpija, Milano and Roma, but don`t be afraid, you will still be able to play for your favourite teams. Roma goes in for Maccabi, Olimpija for Maroussi and Milano for Khimki.

Right now, we are waiting for the last couple of teams to provide their home map and settings. As soon as I receive them, we will start shortly after I get the tournament privileges.

Round one on the way.

Round one is almost finished, we`re just waiting for barsa-oly game to be finished. Round two games will be sent shortly.

By the way, I forgot to tell you tie-breaker rules for this tournament. If two teams end up with the same number of wins and they are the 1st and the 2nd or the 2nd and the 3rd in the group, they will play one game with the following settings: random map, no spoils, no fog, chained reinforcements. If we have a 3-way tie, each team will choose 2 players for 6-players doubles game (with the same settings as before). If they are 2-3-4 in the group, the winner advances to the next round. If they are 1-2-3, the winner of the doubles game wins the 1st place, while other 2 teams play triples game (again with teh same settings as before) for the 2nd place.

I will update the first post with this information in a minute.

Round three is over, and there is only one game left in the round four. Round five games will be created and sent later today.

Partizan is safely through and we are playing Barcelona (already eliminated) for the home field advantage. Pao and Olimpija are playing each other and the loser is eliminated from the competetion.

group F
Real and Roma will advance to the next round. They are playing each other and the winner will have the first place in the group. Efes and Siena are playing for their honor.

group G
Asseco has secured the first position. Zalgiris, Unicaja and CSKA are fighting for the second spot.

group H
Cibona has the lead, for now. but, they are playing Caja Laboral and if they lose they might have to play additional game to advance. Caja and Oly are fighting for their lives, while Milano is playing for the first win.

Congrats to Cibona. You are waiting for Asseco`s game and maybe a tiebreaker to finish to find out who your opponent will be in the quarterfinals. The second place in group H will belong either to Caja Laboral either to Oly, who are playing a tiebreaker game. The winner will play Asseco in the playoffs.
