I changed it to site abuse, as this is what JR had listed in his accusation. In the filler thread that is provided when you create a new C&A form it asks you to list the offense in the title thread, this helps us easily decipher what we are going to be looking at.

I did this, not JR..

DH I have told you in threads about this sort of behavior before, I have not read all 7 pages of this thread as of yet, but I did catch your flamey 1 on this page. Keep it on topic and not baiting or flames or it will be locked.

ahh.. finally all caught up on this thread.

So off of course this will be pending cause we need to deliberate about all this and come back with an answer. But I will go over a few points I have seen in here.

1st. *netham* is/was a multi. and a big one. take his comments with a grain of salt.

2nd. Its obvious the farming rules need to be tweaked. But no matter what tweaking is done there will always be holes. I think Snow was the one who said it best on like page 2 or 3 about saying no matter what implementation of rules come about people will find the loopholes. Everyone knows DH has been accused and Cleared 2 times for farming. Its obvious to all farming rules need to be readdressed. Believe me, we all as CC Admin know it as well, and are working on it behind scenes. Please take all suggestions on that matter to the appropriate threads in Suggs & Bugs, we do read them and do use them to help make this site function better for all.

3rd. This thread may talk about the methods DH does in targeting players in games, but its overall purpose is gross abuse of the game/site. Or that's how I read it, JR feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. This means all supporters on the farming side of things can take those arguments elsewhere. That, as I read it is not what this abuse report is about. Its about DH creating an un-enjoyable environment and taking advantage of certain types of players for his own gain. We all know the ? mark thing, no need to keep bringing up the stats on games that involve or don't involve them in it.

4th. Frankly, my dear's post on page 5 (too long for me to quote) is a good argument in favor of DH's tactics/selection of players and aiding of them later. If your a supporter of his methods then you should follow this example of this post.

5th. JR has some very good points here that should be the focus on to prove validity of DH's methods.

David hasnt answered 1 question yet about his abuse. The only response he gives you is that he is breaking no rules.

1) why does he wait until the game is over and he mopped up some easy points to offer help
2) why does he give no suggestions during the game
3) why does he invite players to difficult maps/options that new players never played before
4) why does he play players as soon as they come off of new recruit status
5) why does he refuse a rematch when a player wants to play a neutral map
6) why does he only play private games against players that barley know how to join a game
7) why has he not made 1 post in the The Society of the Cooks forum to help a player that he swears is all he does

I find it quite easy to see the difference, JR plays mostly easy maps and sequential, that are not farming settings and DH plays only hard settings: freestyle hard maps

please start a seperate thread about me. this thread is about david and his site abuse. I think you are aiming towards me farming. I hope you come up with alot more than that. picking a handful of games out of 18,000 isnt going to help you. there are odles of tourney games and games against high ranks that you missed. Just simply listing some games against low ranks isnt going to help you. Especially when you take some games from September and some games each month since. If you need help, let me know.

right okay you stated some facts in this making yourself look stupid you state about him setting up games for people to join he does NOT do this he baits lower ranks into playing private games against them staiting he will teach them the board that he does not do till he has won the game.

what jr does he joins games that are set up plays them then leaves them alone not offering them a rematch or to teach them the board. we all play lower ranks but will we call it farming at every game played against somone lower. f~@K me kraftone does this not register in your head what he is doing.

I am amazed and bewildered how the following type of conversation is BAITING or LURING:

- "sure/yes" 90% of the time.. . "Ok, I'll send you an invite, OK** "

** - so how is that BAITING? >90% APPROVE the invite, some ask about the map/settings -- but very few.

.. .I play the game and watch open PM we were talking on. I rarely use Game Chat less, because it is difficult. I have periodically checked GameChat and seen a problem, and asked them to talk in LiveChat PM because it is SIMPLER.

CC point system with lower ranks gives me ~4-5 pts, but I stand to lose 80-100. That is a 16-25:1 ADVANTAGE for the opponent. I'm not an idiot, so I do what I can to offset that trememdous advantage (FS, more difficult maps, maps I know). How is playing WITHING the rules and offsetting HUGE disadvantages ABUSE?

ALSO, too often I see opponents drop a bonus or two, or 80% of a big bonus which is a HUGE risk. I am legally mitigating risk. People that don't do it either don't know how, don't care, or choose to live with it. Just because I do that well, what the heck is the problem? Because I was rated #12?, then Change the Rating System.

Again, CC supposedly wants a friendly atmosphere "like friends around a bon-fire". That is EXACTLY what I promote with Franky, Netham and dozens of others. I have played several games with him, and find that he is a decent person. I don't think he abused the site. He is just playing to have fun, like everyone else on this site. I have lost to him more times than I have beaten him, yet I still like playing games with him. If you want to accuse anyone of farming, take a look at KLOBBER's games.

ok...so how many times is this going to be beaten on? ffs...David has been cleared...if people are stupid enough to join his games, that is their problem, not David's...i have seen how games of his are joined, usually goes something like this:
David: anybody want a quick rt game?
player: sure
David: ok..i will set it up & send it to you

David makes the game & the player joins...now me, even now that i'm not new to the site, i would never join the type of game David plays, and never, ever with a general!

i also think David is a friendly person, and he has never pressured me to play one of his games, even though he could have...he is always promoting the "friendly, around the campfire" feel that CC so badly wants...we joke & laugh in LC, and have alot of fun there...I see nothing Grossly Abusive about how David operates. oh, and he has a "cool list" on his profile. I myself have asked why I'm not on it. lol

I also find it odd that JohnnyRocket24 JOINS people's games a lot (many times with another high rank) as opposed to David's invites.

I am amazed and bewildered how the following type of conversation is BAITING or LURING:
CALLOUTS:

- no one answers them
PM DH SENDS:
- Hi. Do you want to play a quick Real Time game?.. . or "so, you want a quick game?"
- "sure/yes" 90% of the time.. . "Ok, I'll send you an invite, OK** "
- "OK... yes.. .or thank you!"
.. .then >90% of the time we play
** - so how is that BAITING? >90% APPROVE the invite, some ask about the map/settings -- but very few.

.. .I play the game and watch open PM we were talking on. I rarely use Game Chat less, because it is difficult. I have periodically checked GameChat and seen a problem, and asked them to talk in LiveChat PM because it is SIMPLER.

CC point system with lower ranks gives me ~4-5 pts, but I stand to lose 80-100. That is a 16-25:1 ADVANTAGE for the opponent. I'm not an idiot, so I do what I can to offset that trememdous advantage (FS, more difficult maps, maps I know). How is playing WITHING the rules and offsetting HUGE disadvantages ABUSE?

ALSO, too often I see opponents drop a bonus or two, or 80% of a big bonus which is a HUGE risk. I am legally mitigating risk. People that don't do it either don't know how, don't care, or choose to live with it. Just because I do that well, what the heck is the problem? Because I was rated #12?, then Change the Rating System.

Again, CC supposedly wants a friendly atmosphere "like friends around a bon-fire". That is EXACTLY what I promote with Franky, Netham and dozens of others. Netham and dozens of others dozens of others meaning all his multi accounts ? I have asked to see how many of those accounts he was busted with that you profited off of too. If David is not found guilty of this abuse or atleast warned to stop, than I will create 1,000 private games and invite players with 5 completed games ( that just came off of new recruit status ) and we will see how many others follow suit. We will open the flood gates for this abuse and just tell everyone we are helping the new recruits ( I say this because that is still what they are ) learn the game with the sites most difficult options of waterloo/freestyle.

People need to stop bringing up the farming thing like JR just brought up, this is about site abuse. Mainly, whether the WAY he got the players into the game, not the actual games played.

Both are doing the same thing, just one has found a more effective way than the other... I Opened a thread on johnny before and it was closed in 30 minutes because there is apparently nothing wrong with targeting bad players to gain wins... Like i said before, how do you go about punishing one guy and praising the other?

both of those numbers are insanely low... probably 2 of the top 10 lowest on the site...

I find it quite easy to see the difference, JR plays mostly easy maps and sequential, that are not farming settings and DH plays only hard settings: freestyle hard maps

edit: found someone with a lower relative rank, probably cause he was longest number 1

the difference is david is a general(star) and jr24 is a major at best and sarge normally


Now i still fail to see how this is not JR24 just trying to get a david? Im not only saying JR24 is at fault as I posted earlier alot of people seem to use C&A whenever they have a arguement...I bet right about the time this was posted JR24 had it out with David or something and is trying to teach him a lesson.

OK, so the proof here (and it is proof if you've gone to the dh games provided by JR) is that dh is preying upon new players and preying upon players who have fallen into his "trap." It appears the trap includes misinformation from dh along with untrue in-game advice from dh. It shouldn't be acceptable to do this.

I have a few questions for the admins of C&A forum:
If this isn't farming, then what is farming?
If this isn't abuse, then what is abuse?
If this isn't a violation of the rules, then can you (the admins) amend the rules to prevent this type of gameplay?

At the very least, allowing this type of gameplay invalidates the ranking system. At the very worst, allowing this type of player to continue unabated would result in more players who LEAVE the site.

Punish dh or make a new rule that would require him to stop the unacceptable gameplay.
