Not really very incredible at all, when you consider how many of those are certainly just multis. Hell, we've got a couple of individuals for whom I wouldn't be surprised if 50 multis each were JUST THEIRS.

Some of them I am surprised were banned. Others, I think, you did not read some of their posts. Like dekoren. A 9/11 truther that spammed and flamed in every thread here in Off-topics. Norse, who outside of FLame Wars was really nothing more than an arrogant modern day Nazi. And Klobber, One of CC's most infamous noob farmers that refused to play anyone other than a recruit, and ended up foeing those that joined his games that were not recruits.

FYI It's my opinion that bans like this should be public....if somebody is banned from the forums or banned from the website...the case should be posted publicly and they should be made an example of...their wrongdoings should be pointed out and everybody should know about it. It will set an example of what not to do in the future. If somebody is banned because they created multiple accounts, I don't really need that to be posted. That's just obvious and doesn't need to be explained..i mean...it's rule #1 and in huge freakin letters....

cc will never make public the reasons for any bans!!

if they did, they would show the pettiness and ineptitude of certain mods.

it is a good idea though. this way the mods could be moderated for their actions by the paying public. i'd put money down that there'd be a radical shuffle of the cc mod structure if their activities were made public.

I just finished my 6 month ban for "trolling and negative comments". Kinda leaves it wide open don't it? The above post was a "negative comment", i.e. speaking out against the admins here. I can live with that - it's their site and they can run it as they please. The thing that chaps my ass is their hypocrisy. Be that as it may i'll abide by the unwritten rule - don't f*ck with the admins - if i want to hang around here. The site may suck, but there's a few people still here that i enjoy fraternizing with, so i'll roll with the punches.

that because they are biased and selective in enforcement. I sent them a report for flaming (one guy said he was gonna shoot me, another for a guy calling me 8 names in 1 sentence. They sent me back a spam webpage for generic canadian drugs. And then they banned me for callling a guy an idiot. Never in my life had I seen a more appropriate situation to call the person an idiot. I don't care, it was worth it. not to mention, it was my first name call in months. You have not really lived until you've had someone wachting over everything you say, just waiting...

I think what sealed my fate was when someone asked how much the mods would be paid (in the mod recruitment thread) and i referred them to Mark Twain's "Tom Sawyer" and told them to read the fence painting episode. Good times.

i know what you're saying though. they can interpret what they like as what they want. since the start january i've had a week ban and a month ban for absolutely nothing. with the threatening email of a six month ban.
