I can't even remember how long until good friday. Always thought it made sense to organize spring break around Easter as most people at my school would always skip school the day after Easter anyways. especially hispanics. they were nowhere to be found the day after Easter at my school.

Yes I guess that whole division of church and state maybe? they don't want to place something as a holiday because of religious reasons. I'm not really sure myself.
