It might be better to just extend the time allowed for each round, rather than take a break.

It will be difficult to pick a holiday period that would suit everyone. I would like 11th June to 11th July, to coincide with the World Cup. ;)

REMINDER: ALL GAMES SHOULD BE JOINED BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

Except for the select few of you that I have already talked to.

Dude, your team isn't even going to get out of group play. You don't need to wait until July 11th to play again.

That could be a fact angola, fortunately I'm a football fan, so I can get almost as much enjoyment from watching a game like Brazil v Portugal, as I can from cheering for England. A concept that i wouldn't expect an American to understand ;)

cheering for England is concept even some Englishmen dont understand :D

anyhow, true that. WC is something special, and many of us will watch all the games, regardless who is playing. in my case, only difference between our games and other games, is that im going to be totally wasted after games Serbia played :D

Just a joke. I like watching all the games as well. My username came from an announcer screaming something about Angola during the last Cup.

Anyway, June 12. It's on.

Your keeping my on my toes. As those who know me in real life (no one on here) know, I often forget the little things.

I will take care of that shortly.

Meeeeow...that was pretty biting, Namor. True, of course, but biting :D
I would add some anti-American football (or "soccerball" is it?) stuff, but we play them in the group stages so I don't want to tempt fate

Thailand is playing in WC? :D

or some England IPS have same problems as ours(just learned some serbian IPS are shown under Norwegian flag )? i am assuming you arent from africa or slovenia, but rather some poor english soul wondering why does Germans knows how to do something that eludes englishman for century, ie plays footy :P

ps. if you happen to get into second stage(with huge help from referees, as there is no way you can beat anyone without it :P), there are big chances you will have to play us(not US, but us :D). or maybe Germany, that would be something to remember

So this is why tofu, has not joined the games we sent them, or sent us their games.... Spending to much time talking about that girlie sport called football(dress making for children). If ya was talking about rugby it would be forgivable..... Shame on you

Hey everyone,

2nd batch of the first round games need to be sent by tomorrow night for everyone except for the 2 that got started a little late. Although, if it is possible I would appreciate those starting also so things move along. Please let me know if there are any questions or problems.

With this new added "flip the board" feature, perhaps a belated rule needs be added regarding board-flipping in these challenges?

Yea, I think it should come at a cost of 0.1 points per flip. That should limit abuses.

Obviously board flipping would be a forfeit if it was really a possibility.

You do know today is April fool's, right?
