I happen to know Bobby14. I played him 1 game, destroyed him, and gave him some quality advice. I was never rude to Bobby14, I was helpful and friendly Game 6481770. Why? Because there is no reason to treat this kid like an idiot just because he is not very good at this game yet. JOHNNYROCKET24's approach here was rough, at best, and could very easily be considered rude. If I was a new player (and 14 years old) I would be pretty hurt by JOHNNYROCKET24's comments. I know the.killing.44 is a hard-ass (at least on the web) and will call me out for being sensitive, but there is no age limitation on this site and there are young kids here playing to have fun. When a highly ranked player jumps into your game and jumps down your throat about being clueless I think that negates having fun. To be blunt, JOHNNYROCKET24's approach shows his naivety.

JOHNNYROCKET24, I understand how you feel about DH, I think EVERYONE does, but when you go into a game chat and call a new player clueless you are really not helping your case or the harassed player in any way.

i think its possible youre over accentuating the harm "clueless" may cause... and its fairly obvious he meant he was clueless about the map...hold on for an example

AAFitz, I am not saying "clueless" by itself is a great blow to this youngster. I am suggesting his approach of busting into game chat and ranting for 6 lines about the kids cluelessness before calling him out, is very rude.

Either way you look at it JOHNNYROCKET24 has taken this from a personal problem with Gen.LeeGettinhed to form of stalking and it needs to be stopped. It has moved from being focused on DH to affecting his opponents as well and it is simply uncalled for. I think the ban hammer should be hung over some heads here if this does not stop.

perhaps, but calling someone clueless on this site...especially when its clear that he meant he was clueless about the map...and not just clueless in general, is obvious.

what you are doing here, is the exact, absolutely the exact same thing you are accusing him of. You are exxagerating this suggesting its flaming perhaps, in an effort to get something done, and using an example of him saying a player was "clueless" as your main basis for the complaint.

Im not nominating Johnny for mr congeniality, but I think its clear he was not making fun of the guy, and only explaining he was clueless how to play the map. As far as whether its spamming or not, I honestly dont know so I wont comment...but considering what can be said in chat... youd have to be clueless about CC to think it even comes close to breaking any rules.

I am clueless on how to play a few maps. Battle of Iraq for example.

While playing das shloss, i bet no less than three people have used the same exact word to describe their knowledge of it.

I had meant to post examples, but forgot...but again...its obvious how it is meant...not to say a 14 year old might not misinterpret it.

The question is not whether JR can post that David is taking advantage of a new player, who quite frankly, was clueless about what to do, but whether he can say anything in his games. On this one, it is possible that he was trying to explain to the player that he was obviously, and completely being sucked in for his points...and that point, is without a doubt clear...and anyone that cant see that, is truly clueless.

and in case you are clueless. The chat in this game was warranted as just fine. Game 5847098 Though, they didn't use the word clueless.

you are correct. David was abusing that player for the 3rd straight game and I posted a warning in that game especially when the player stated "I dont know this map" and the previous game posted a request to play on a map that he knew. I did not want to see a 4th straight game of David abusing this player. David continues to abuse new players with his private game invites and I will continue to warn new player like I have posted in the society of cooks forum already. Obviously "clueless" means not knowing what he is doing when he already stated that in the start of the game. and yes, this thread is just in response to me bring David up on abuse charges in the other thread. Nothing i stated in game chat was abuse. We also have another player posting in this thread on Davids behalf because he was warned for flaming/baiting me personally. Again, nothing on the matter except to throw a few daggers into my side.

Two things:

1) CC admin needs to talk to Bobby14. I talked to him after the game (like I do a LOT of players) in PM. He was NOT happy by JR24's comments or intrusion. He is a polite and passive person that doesn't like quarreling (like JR24 and I)

2) CC admin needs to CHECK the written rules:
- nothing I do is against the written rules. change them if you like, but people LIKE me and play invited. JR24 joins uninvited, and often with a budddy
- on this thread...JR violates SEVERAL written rules...and is purely rude.

I'm not sticking up for David, I would not be surprised (and I agree with you, there) if your report on him results in some sort of punishment. However, this thread is not about David or sticking up for David. This thread is about you breaking the rules. It's pretty sad that you had to let it come to this. You couldn't just sit back and let the mods punish him with all the proof you provided? You had to go out of your way to try to serve some vigilante justice?

This has been left open for too long. JOHNNYROCKET24, I suggest that you stop following Gen.LeeGettinhed's games just to join the game chat. You are not in these game/s. If it was fine with the players involved in the game, then I see no problem. However, when one of them complains about it, then we have to respect this and let's not mess other people's games. We know what you are trying to convey to these player/s but if there was a rule that is being violated then we should have already dealt with it a long time ago when it was reported then than resort to something like this. Find another manner to fight what you think is an abuse but this is certainly not the correct way to do it. Do not make it look like we are condoning anything here. We may agree on some things that we do not like seeing, but there are lines where we just can't force the issue. We are just sticking to what we have right now. If you already stopped this "crusade" before this report has been closed - good.
