actually, i used to play a risk variant that was only computer opponents...but i got impatient and would set up 6 or 7 of those to play at once too

but playing a computer is just not challenging...its more tricky to set up the settings to the point where you might lose or might win....if you set them too easy..you win every time...to hard...you cant possibly win....

that was the only game i ever really played on the computer for any length of time....Id play it more now...but theres no form to fill out when the computer players have a secret alliance...its very frustrating...

yup....highly addicted now.....between poker and CC I play online a average of 18hrs a day. I think I am going to be single again soon !

I agree, this site rocks hard. I'm totally addicted and the only reason I haven't gone premium yet is purely self-defense because I know I would instantly get NO work done EVER if I did. Self-control where computer games is concerned is not my strong point. When I'm not playing conquer club, FFXII for PSII is sucking my life away. Frankly, it's miraculous that I still have a wife.

What is odd is a few months before finding this site I got a Wii and was almost finished with Zelda. Now I play this way more then the Wii, and this is free. Hyrule is still under the threat of twilight.

Agreed! I layed off Zelda because she was getting fed up with it, so I sneakily found a different game that isn't as obvious.
Colossus, any luck talking your wife into playing conquer club with you? My wife has played Risk with me >5x in our relationship and claims she has played more Risk than most woman pay throughout their whole life. It must be sad to be a girl :wink:

Still, I have to say that I've played a variety of online games on a variety of sites, and conquer club is by far the best. I love the variety of game types, maps, and opponents. I expect it will be a never-ending challenge.

I put this link out to see how addictive this game really is. I dont now much about what it would cost to run a commercial on advertising this site...but if done right, this sight would explode into something more than any would probibly expect not to mention the MODS wallets... maybe they dont have enough income coming in yet to try that but it could be a great investment....then maybe its not a good idea as I only have internet at work and they have blocked about every game site except the ones under the radar( stupid PANDA DEFENSE ) like this site.SO, if and when this site gets big enough, I wont get paid to play anymore and I will suffer from CC withdrawels and have to get online sevice at home-JUST FOR THIS GAME

Tell you what Colossus. We could coax our wives into playing with a doubles game. Mr. and Mrs. KATHAR vs. Mr. and Mrs. Colossus. Chicks dig stuff like that. It would take a bit to make accounts for the Mrs. but we could drop each other a line as soon as they are online.
I think my wife might be more open to that.

This could be the start of a whole new way to do marriage counceling.
