I feel for ya' gang. Ol' Saxi doesn't have that prob myself, I sleep for 18 hours per night (you do not want to see ol' Sax if I haven't got a solid 12 in), but I know it can be painful.

I used to suffer from serious Insomnia. I used to work all day, try to get to sleep in the night, give up at 3 and write music until 7 when i had to work again.

I hated it.

It sucks when you work all day to be tired at midnight and finally sleep 8 hours!

I ran 3 miles, fixed some wiring, went up to the roof to fix a couple of cameras, filled a walk-in fridge, re-arranged a small warehouse, and to get my brain tired I read a bunch of info on neurotrasnmiters just before going to bed. I didn't drink coffee after 2pm, I didn't have any sugar with my supper.

You'd think I'd sleep at least 6 hours... but I'm awake after 2:30 hours!!!

Gang, don't wanna be a Debbie Downer here, but one root cause of endemic insomnia is undiagnosed syphilis.

If untreated, some years after the initial infection, the sufferer can experience inflammation of arteries in the brain. This is a rather late-stage form of syphilis - meningovascular neurosyphilis. One symptom is endemic insomnia.

I am very concerned that we have some serious STDs spreading through the CC community, gang.

I'll be pow-wowing with the Valued Mods about putting together a Task Force to inform and educate the CC community about how to have fun but be SAFE and Sane at the same time. Let's keep the randiness to a minimum until we get this sorted out, gang. In the meantime, as highest ranking degreed* medical official on CC I'll be initiating the CC Quarantine Lockdown Protocol.
