GeneralJestix [Closed] KS

Post by THORNHEART »

Accused:

GeneralJestix

The accused are suspected of:

Other: Game abuse, throwing the game, Intentioanl suicide

Game number(s):

Game 6322286

Comments: GJ cleary states he intends to hold me in some sort of hostage situation. I only have 1 territory left and I let this slide for the one turn but he has done it for three turns now and who knows how long this will go on. I have been invovled in this game for months now and finally pink and then yellow intentionally sucide me as you can see in the chats and both clear state their intetioons to throw the game to the other then GJ cleary states his intentions to tie up my slot so i cant join new games.

I am aware that this was ruled unfair in a previous case and would like the mods to step in here before it gets out of hand.

TheForgivenOne, your lack of understanding of card games is unforgivable. Clearly yellow didn't take him out last turn, so he can take him this turn. Cash, and then when he ends turn have 3cards again, and a chance of another set. Even though its a flat rate game, extra troops can be damn useful. Yellow appears to be playing smart. If he doesn't take him out this turn, then maybe it is a hostage situation, or it could be good strategy leave him alive as bait, to see whether pink is dumb enough to spend everything to try and get 2cards... Lets see what happens. Rather than jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst.

GeneralJestix, is most definately not guilty of "intentioanl" suicide or throwing the game. He still has a very good chance of winning the game if he plays this turn right. Spurious accusation me thinks due to lack of game play knowledge. If General plays this turn correctly he will win the game. Pretty smart play by him.

hi bogan i think you are wrong this one smart play would of been to let thornheat take another card which he hasnt. all he has done is trapped him in the corner if he took him last turn he would of had a cash this one. this is holding hostage due to the fact he is not carding the player (allowing him to take cards before the kill)

also this comment says it all

2010-04-30 04:54:51 - GeneralJestix: well im going to bed now, ill keep silver in the game for a little longer, use up one of his 4 game slots just for being a prick

now it dont matter if silver is or not he is holding hostage and has stated it.

Lol Bogan it's flat rate.
Lovable rogue Thornhearts 2 cards are worth.. what... 6 troops at most, why would you let him add another 3 to take the cards? The other guys have 100's of troops. Whether it's intentional hostage is of course another matter, but I don't think you can possibly call it "smart play".

10 if its a rainbow. This way yellow could try and take one of pinks castles, working from the top of the map, then cash for 4-10 and use those shock troops to achieve victory. Its a game. Now eddie dear if someone says they are god would you believe them? Sometimes a joke is a joke. I presume General was telling the truth about going to bed, but joking about the hostage thing. People have 24hrs to take a turn, and maybe he wanted to take such a crucial turn when well rested.

ok then bogan the bed thing he says could of been true but he took shots after that not taking him out 1 of them he had a cash in so if he was not holding hostage why not take him out before giving him a double cash. this was obvious cheating. also i dont believe all that gets said(for this i would believe that all crimes are treated the same on this site)but his actions after saying it ring true to his word.

not really. it just means you cannot take someone hostage if there are other players active.

there were other plausibe reasons that were spoke of in this very thread as to why thorn was held around for a round or two, whether you think it was the best tactics or not on the issue is irrelevant. Everyone plays differently.

Yes he said it in chat but 90% of the threats that people say they are going to do in chat arent followed through.

This was an issue cause it was holding thorn from starting other games, thorn tried to reason with them to take him out and when he felt like he was being abused by not taking him out he took the next step and made a thread about it, and let them know. The players n the game then decided to take him out. This was over a course of hours not days when it progressed. Therefor it was handled without moderation, which is of course how we would like most things to be done.

We only step in if we need to. Thorn if I didnt already say it Im sure you know Foe & or Rate Accordingly, and eddie if your going to try to continue to be a member in C&A why dont u try to be more productive vice counter productive.

well ks i am sorry you sound like a good one. but please i think you need to talk to other mods. after reading things on this site i have seen one measure taken for 1 and 1 for the other. i do understand you are voulenters(sorry for spelling 2 drinks 2 many)but we need to have a c and a that is consistant not 1 rule for 1 and 1 for another. i am sorry if i sound bad but i think responses in this forum are starting to go this way. please be fair and equal punishment.(this thread will be locked as usual so no response can be made)

no 1 is locking anything unless it justifies it. all of us n c&a use the same judgement n guidelines to govern the actions that take place . many a times we converse and bounce rulings off 1 another to get a unified front which u the public dont see. And another behind the scenes issue that u the public are not previed to is other users past transcretions. All these things dictate a c&a mod/hunters rulings. Just cause u may not agree with the ruling doesnt make it wrong. The staff/volunteers that work n here n c&a work hard 2 make this a better site 4 all, i wouldnt trade n 1 of them . KS
