my way of avoiding bad dice is to not play any games whatsoever, heck i've still got 10 months of premium and im never going to be using it. It feels awesome to not complain about the dice. My quest of befriending them is complete
Each time combat is initiated, the game engine will generate a random intensity level for each troop involved. The outcome is determined by the intensity of the assaulting troops versus the intensity of the repelling troops.
This makes the whole thing a lot more complex, and much easier to get certain rolls that would be far more unlikely if the only randomness was the dice roll itself!
The more troops involved on either side, the better the chances that side has of winning. But not all troops in the regions are necessarily involved.
Was this a necessity to avoid any problems with RiskTM?
Shame if it was because as some has said earlier in this topic we just do not take the chance of attacking a 12 with a 4 because the risk is just too great, however if we also do not attack a 4 with a 12 we cannot hope to win.
I think we have another one who has misunderstood what the intensity levels mean... they simply refer to the numbers on the dice, I mean intensity cubes.
~Sigh~ I hate how people say "THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE DX". FALSE! I played Risk! against a few of my cousins last christmas. He cashed in to sweep the map, guess what? He went for a kill on me, on my last few regions, this is what my defense looked like. |6| |6| |6| |6| |5| |6| |5| |6| |6| |6| |6|. So, he had 11 left to take one of my territories, and he failed to win it, because of luck. "Dice aren't streaky, i've never seen it" BS, i've seen it with my eyes, don't believe me? Ask suparolo. I nearly cost him the game with my amazing luck
[game]1675072[/game] 2018-08-09 16:02:06 - Mageplunka69: its jamaica map and TFO that keep me on this site
check out the dice analyzer plugin it shows the dice pretty much roll even over time. One time I had 17 left at the end of the game vs 63 or something like that one china, I attacked it and I beat china with 2 troops left. I used autoattaack and I won bigtime. What I am currently experiencing is a total lack of wins without losses against a 3. I used to roll two wins and a third to finnish it in a row all the time. Now I am scared of 3's because I really never get that anymore its always lossing 1-3 attacking a 3 now.

So, you lie or you are a really lucky guy !
Or, such an event can actually happen in real life, just like real probability would suggest?
is it evan posible for a computer to jenerate a random number or dice roll? I mean its all code that was writen by some guy right. so all of our dice rolls are prewriten, so all our games are predecided. an experinced player will see opertunitys that a rookie will not and exploit them, but altimately the game is decided by the falty dice system.

The random numbers in CC are not generated by computers. Our dice rolls are not pre-written, unless you're a determinist...

The dice used on this site are provided by http://www.random.org "The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs."
I don't know if you'd consider me an 'experienced player', but I've never made an attack with the knowledge that I will have great dice. That said, if I wanted to gain points, I'd play maps and settings where losing three or four consecutive rolls has a relatively low impact on the game.
