Yes!!! ..and I'm accepting suggestions... anything that could be seen as a lost and forgotten civilization ..fumandomuerte wrote:Could there be ruins of older civilizations by any chance then?Kabanellas wrote:I said: ...probably inhabited...
Jef, are you referring to the lake in 'Spanking monkeys 5' ? I suppose I could make it brighter...jefjef wrote:That little pond looks like a pit. Doesn't even look like water.
It allows for a little diversity and depending on your starting points, whether you would like to go for clan grounds or portals, so it gives some options and depends on the random drop where you start on which way you may choose. Thanks so much for the kind words guys. Kab deserves most of the credit, I could not of done it without him. He is simply amazing with his art skills and vision for creativity.army of nobunaga wrote:danfrank wrote:From reading the legend i conclude that the clans ground will be the first meaningful position you may what to hold. With the plus three auto deploy, all clans have except legion and legends of war have 2 spaces to conquer to reach the clans ground putting them at a disadvantage. Is this done on purpose?![]()
On a positive note, nice trees or bushes, the best yet on this site ...
I hope its done on purpose.
Ive followed this map for a while.
At first I rolled my eyes and thought "what a bunch of arrogant pricks" (sorry im always honest)
but this is maybe my 12th time looking at it.
And this may end up being one of the best maps in CC. I shit you not.
goodluck

spacecraft like U.F.O.'S would be neat.Kabanellas wrote:fumandomuerte wrote:What about adding some castles or villages like I suggested pages ago? something that represents that there actually exist army camps and hordes of horsemen running through the green fields...My other dislike would be the metal pattern used on the legend, I'd like some wood instead.
Keep the hard work!
fmThat would be cool if we were talking about a Feudal Epic kind of map - the action here is placed in the future not in the past. Being this, an unknown lost (probably inhabited) world, waiting to be conquered by clans (in the future - that would be using dimensional portals, mechs and spaceships instead of horsesnatty_dread wrote:I would also like to see buildings.)

it's still The Pinnacle, as named in the legend... Deep Land is the region surrounding it as we've discussed before.Blitzaholic wrote:Did we decide to name the Pinnacle something else? I lost that PM? I may need to update page 1 a little.

the craft looks neat Kab, dinosaur skeletons buried in the sand? wow, what if somehow since this is futuristic we happened to stumble across some unexplored areas with new advanced technology and found a dinosaur alive.natty_dread wrote:Maybe. Do some ruined buildings then?
And you know what would be cool? Some alien dinosaur skeletons, partially buried in the sand... if you can fit it there, it'd go well with the center.

I'm with Blitz hereBlitzaholic wrote:It may not fit on the map, perhaps I am getting carried away.I do like dinosaurs though, but, it may not fit the futuristic theme, let's see what Kab says.

oh hybrids, interestingnatty_dread wrote:Not just any dinosaurs... alien dinosaurs
Think a hybrid between Alien and T-rex...

Right on the point Dan!!!!!danryan wrote:How about snakes? Snakes make everything better.Seriously though, I think you've got a great map without adding gimmicks like spaceships, giant reptiles, or Ms. Pacman. Kind of derailing where this was going isn't it?

I'd lose the spaceship, definitely.

Why have a map at all?Blitzaholic wrote:Kabanellas wrote:Right on the point Dan!!!!!danryan wrote:How about snakes?
