I'm not sure if this has been discussed already. What about a slding scale for points in terms of when you go out in a game? Such as, the second place finisher loses less points than the player who went out first in the game. It probably would require some complicated algorithm to calculate, but it rewards the player who was able to go deep in the game versus the player who went out early.
Yea, good idea. So it prevents the player who deadbeats to lose less points then the second place player who fought valiantly and had some hard luck. I'm in favor of it...
yup good idea. i have a lot of games in which i finish second

In the words of Ricky Bobby, you're either first or last. It doesn't matter what place you come in unless you're first, you have to play the game that way. I think that you sometimes need to make a play that will either break you, or leave you golden. I vote a big NO.
I disagree with this more than I can express in words. It doesn't matter if you came in 2nd or 3rd, you still failed to achieve victory, and you should be treated exactly the same as all those who also did not win. Reason for my logic is because what happens if you get a crappy placement to begin with, and then people just start killing you. Yes this happens in normal games but, in most games they wouldn't try and hunt you down, if you had say 6 in japan (classic map). They'd let you live, until you had maybe 3 cards that they could take. Now they would just kill players just so they wouldn't lose as many points. This could change the entire dynamics of this site.
I am 100% against this idea.
Blades will bleed. Shields will shatter. But as the light fades, will the hero rise again or will darkness reign?
