If by "care" you mean kinda kept up with it until it became the OMG LEBRON JAMES show, then I did a little. I was hoping it would be over when the Cavs lost, but I forgot the little issue about his free agency.
Seriously, there are other topics ESPN could be covering even within the basketball world. I hate when they do shit like this. This is probably worse than Bret Favre's shenanigans.

Eh, yea. I just saw ESPN go over the Magic/Celtics game last night and the only person I cared about was Vince Carter, because he used to play for ma team, the Raptors.
Honestly though, I feel like NO ONE cares about the playoffs this year. I actually think the hockey games are getting more views.
I expected the Magic to lose Game#1 since they've had so much time off. Look for them to win the next 4 out of 5 as they get their legs back. Magic win the series in 6 games. Lakers also win their series, but it will be a wild one.

Until then, pokemon seems to be your best option.....

I admit ESPN takes to one topic and sticks with it too much. The only reason I wanted the Cavs to win is because I'm not completely in the "Im so f*cking sick of Lebron James" phase and still want him to get one championship ring.

Both series are now 3-2. Few teams advance from a 3-0 deficit, but Orlando has a 2 game win streak in the East and chance to force a Game 7. In the West neither team has pulled off an away win and the Lakers do have the home court advantage.
James is a gifted player and quite possibly may be the best ever, but he makes way too much money for me to ever worry about his NBA championship chances and Neoteny said Brett Favre!
The Magic-Celtic series is now actually interesting. If the Magic win, man what a game #7 that will be. Didn't the Bruins just blow a 3-0 lead in hockey?
The Lakers got lucky last night in their win. Ron Artest was so fortunate to put in that last second shot because he screwed up about 50 seconds earlier by taking those two stupid shots.

Few?
Never has it happened in basketball, and only 4 times in other sports. The Flyers have actually won the Cup yet, so the only team to ever come back and then win the Championship were the RedSox back in 04. I'll be rooting for the Magic...hopefully they can do it.
