It was so disappointing last year to get to the final four and lose. I have full focus (not that I did not have it last year), so I will do my best to win this. It would be the greatest tourney victory for me. We shall see.

Sweeping it too, makes it all the more frustrating to not have made the playoffs -_- oh well thanks for the tourney

After reaching the final four last year, Villanova's coach HighlanderAttack chose to be mostly silent in the threads. Last year every time he spoke about the team in the forum they would lose. So since then he has kept it pretty quiet. There was only one goal when Villanova started the season and that was to win it all. Since this is probably the best tourney with very many players, this winning it all expectation could only be a dream. After such a slow start, 2-5 to start the season, Villanova really picked it up. After a loss to Georgetown on Feb. 2nd, Villanova looked like a team that could maybe get a 10 seed. After that loss we did not lose again though. Winning the Big East, the Big East Tourney, and then getting enough luck to go through to the final four to match last year's run. The only thing left was to finish with two wins in the final four. With three starts in the Finals, Villanova was able to take the championship. Finishing the season with a 17 game winning streak, this will go down as HighlanderAttack's best tournament win ever. Thanks so much to dowian2 for making this happen and thanks to flex for starting it and of course I look forward to his and flex's 2010/2011 NCAA Basketball season effort next year.

Thanks to Nate the Great for being such a good sport opponent. I learn from players like this all the time.
