Kobe was out of rhythm by being in foul trouble, much like Ray Allen was in Game 1. Don't foul and then you won't be in foul trouble.
The refs have been awful to both teams the first two games.
All I know is this: The Lakers bigs have owned the Celtics the first two games, yet it is 1-1.
I would be a tad nervous as a Lakers fan, frankly.
Though the Celtics haven't played well at home this season, so who knows.
I'd like Celtics in 6, but I expect Lakers in 7.

That is what the NBA would like you to think. You can point to one or two calls that didn't go the Lakers way. But the reality is they've been calling love taps, phantom fouls and flops all series to take away momentum from the Celtics and put key players in foul trouble. It's been terrible. I'm tempted to not even watch anymore. And I'm certain that I wouldn't if it was not my Celtics in the Finals. And this coming from a fan who's number 2 team is whoever is playing the Lakers. I didn't watch 1 minute of the Magic/Lakers. I was certain that the same type of crap was going to happen then.
Oh, I'm a Celtics fan, so I know where you are coming from, I was just trying to not look like a whiny fan.
Refs do suck and have sucked throughout the postseason, the Celtics still shouldn't have shit the bed in Game 3. They had three opportunities in the fourth quarter to take the lead and never did.
You can't lose Game 3 on your home floor, especially when you are within striking distance in the fourth.
seems like the lakers offense went stale yesterdey, withought bynum making 20+ minutes they may be in trouble.
nate was great... knowing his type of play i was expecting him to be much more selfish and be shooting prayers from behind the 3 points line constantly, he surprised me, and most other people at that i would think.
but one thing that can't be ignored was the complete failure of these high payed proffesionals on a simple 14 foot (jump) shot. i still can't get my head around how it is possible that such a basic shot cannot be carried out to a higher percentage. Artest especially after 10 professional years, is fiering shoots that are barelly hitting the rim on mosts attempts!
if bynum can't play 20+ min it might be exiting otherwise still lakers in 6
Lakers have yet to win 2 in a row over the course of these finals, and that's what it will take to win this championship... of course the Celtics only need one.
Such a curious series too, it will be interesting to see WHO shows up tonight.

The interficials will show up. That's the only thing I'm sure of. Yes I think the Celts have been more consistent than the Lakers.
Also, a lot is made of the Celts being a great road team. But they clearly looked more comfortable at home in this series. They have not looked comfortable on the road since the first two games of the Orlando series.

Because of Kobe and home court I have to give the edge to the Lakers
The Lakers still only finished with 89 points. Plenty of bad officiating througout (as expected). But the game like the other Celtics losses came down to cold shooting by the Celts (of course Laker fans might argue thats why they lost their 3 games lol). But yea, I thought we just came out timid. Pierce was the only one that wanted to do something with the ball all night. I agree with M Jackson. Rondo needs to pick up his game in Game 7. Pierce might be the turbo boost, but Rondo is the engine that makes the team run. On a bright note, KG looks like he's not going to cost the C's any more games.
I've been pulling for the Celtics because I really didn't expect it to go this far and figured the Lakers would have their way with Boston this time around.
To Boston's credit they have hung tough... for most of these games.

the whole season winds up to 1 game sweet, just how it should be!
LA has my favour... homecourt, more complete team and in the flow.
Yea and you're telling me that 3 refs didn't see that? NBA is WWE.
You forgot to mention Pierce doing a trip on Gasol on a fast break...so both sides are guilty of hard plays
That was a flop. Gasoft has been flopping all series. DF is rubbing off on him. And comparing a blatant elbow to a suspect trip is not at all apples and oranges anyways.

Oh please. Even homer-boy Bill Simmons called Pierce out for that (should-have-been-flagrant) foul.

First off, BS ain't a homer. He lives in LA, but I'll concede your point about his inbuilt bias. Second off, I didn't say Pierce didn't foul him. I said Gasol flopped like he has all series. Watching grown men flop is pathetic.
