If someone takes Europe in Classic, I make sure everyone else knows.

Why? If YOU take Europe in Classic do you think it's important that everyone else knows?

Is it against the rules and guidelines? No.
I don't deny that sharing information with other players is not sporting, but really, can you expect the mods and admins to police this? It's inherent in the format. I'm sure people want to enjoy fog games, they add an extra level of strategy to the game. I would suggest playing team games or large 6-8 player games where multiple people probably know the same things. If it's not illegal, don't expect much action against it.

It's a matter of preference. I don't think that giving out players' locations/bonuses in the Game Chat is at all like a sunny game. There's more to it.

The game could automatically post "gl" and "gg" on behalf of all the players...
