Hi All - tournament is now FULL and we already have 9 reserves, which I would hope is plenty. I'm really looking forward to running this though we have a bit of a wait now before I start sending passwords to games. As stated in the intro I will start launching games a few days ahead of the real-world World Cup so that we should more or less keep pace with it depending how quickly our games finish. I intend to keep the scoreboards maintained once per day. Good Luck All.

The tournament director has asked me to start games immediately due to the 30 day rule, so we will get underway immediately. There will be a gradual start though, as I have a holiday in May and don't want this to affect the quality of organisation. I would also like the majority of the tournament to run while the real World Cup is running.

The match was 0-2, but then the Argentinian Team with two wonderfull goals from Messi could tie the match in the extra time. 2-2 the final score

North Korea defeats Cote d'Ivoire 3-1, but will not advance to the Round of 16 due to the goal differential, unless Brazil can force a tie or defeat Portugal. Looks as if Group G and A are the 2 Groups of Death. lol

Portugal and North Korea are tied on points, goal difference and goals scored. But it's not a problem, acores, since the next tiebreaker is results between the two teams: Portugal beat North Korea 3-1 in their match, so Portugal progress!

1-0 to Chile... though looks like we're going to make it 2-0. Portrugal need to do something special in the other half to force a draw.

I guess chemefreak's defender stopped the ball from entering with their hands then my striker missed the penalty
Extra time it is!
