It's their first game together. Just because they have the same flag doesn't mean they know each other. and even if they are conducting secret diplomacy, they would just get a noted seeing as there really isnt any evidence at all. you're just angry because they prob hit you while you were offline. if you don't like that don't play freestyle. or do it back. its called being online.

If you want to accuse someone of secret diplomacy please give us some reason rather than their country and times played. Did any of their moves look like they were working together? If so what round and what action? Please provide some evidence within the next 24 hours or I will close this.

Actually appears they are friends who actually went out of their way to attack each other in later rounds,
I suspect this might become a problem in the future, but not yet.

At this point, I would say their behavior was suspicious, but not against the rules.

One of the strats for freestyle is joining a game as the last player and going first, giving you the option of doing a little damage undisturbed if they other players aren't living on CC 24/7. Taking turns 9minutes apart is not unusual, particularly since they are in the same time zone so are probably keeping similar hours.

At the best misjudged/thoughtless complaint/accusation. Possibly even spurious if one of the almighty mods are having a zealous day

Before I get the obvious childish flames back to this posting, let me point out a few facts, because clearly you did not read my comments, nor did you take any time to learn about me.

About me:
I am a professor. I teach math and computer programming. One of my topics includes probability.

Secondly, I have played close to 500 games, and only once have I played sequential. I am on the computer many hours (read: employment) and take full advantage of email notices and going last / first.

I do not get angry, except at ignorance. There is no excuse for ignorance.

About the Claim:
Taking one turn 9 minutes apart does not prove anything, especially considering the other time stamps. One can not take a single piece of information and make a broad claim. Taking several (most) moves only a few seconds apart does not prove anything, but does raise suspicions. Thus, the claim is "they are suspected of .... " The claim does NOT say they are guilty. The odds that these two are working completly independent, given the time stamps, are greater than winning the lottery. Outliers do exist, and a person with any knowledge of statistics should know this.

Given the attack in round 9 by tetracorp on A.D. , I am 99.9% sure they are friends, but are having fun, not trying to have an advantage over other players. It is very unlikely that it is two accounts by one person.

Final Comments:
Finally. the forum is to discuss suspicions. NOT to criticize nor attempt to patronize a person who brings suspicions to light. I think some of the people who commented here, have made inappropriate comments and should reconsider what they say. Sarcasm directed at a writer, or childish threats are unnecessary and, at least from me, unwanted.

You are completely wrong in this conclusion.

I sent you a notice PRIOR to creating the second account explaining my purpose.

The ONLY reason for the duplicate account is to play with my 7 and 12 year old children. REGGIE-O and CHUCK-A-PUCK. We play the board game, and they wanted to play on your site to add variety to the games. We have a home network, and play among ourselves.

I want to let them win sometimes, and I am selfish. I did not want losing to my children to affect my points earned on CanuckSteve..

A look at the games played by DaddyRon will show (with the one exception where someone else joined in error) I only play with my children. NEVER will CanuckSteve and DaddyRon play the same game. There has been no violations.

You remove the false accusation that I am using duplicate accounts
Reinstate my premium membership

b) there is no intention to violate any rules. Only to be a good dad and play with my children. There was no attempt to violate any rules.
c) There was no violation of rules. DaddyRon only played with the children, and never entered a game with anyone else, nor any game with CanuckSteve.

At worst, I should have been asked to delete the DaddyRon account, and although nothing was said when I set up the account, be warned not to do this again. The penalty does not fit the crime - if there is a crime at all.

I researched the facts rest assure, and it was all there in black and white showing that you and the daddyron account are the same person.

When you create an account for this site you have to check a box acknowledging that you are aware you are only allowed 1 account. There is no disclaimer. This box doesn't mean check here if you acknowledge that you will only make multiple accounts and never use them against each other, or only use 1 to play with family members and 1 to play with others.
It means you will have 1 account and 1 account only.

There are all kinds of reasons people make more then 1 account, some don't even use their multiple accounts to boost one of their points up, either way no matter the reason it is against the rules.

You acknowledged that upon accession of your account and its all laid out in the community guidelines.

The daddyron account stays as a Guest, your premium membership has been revoked and you are allowed to renew it, the ruling on the case will stand. You of course can open up an E-Ticket and get this reviewed but the evidence is Clear, so I doubt it gets overturned.

Those who try to be a good parent, are open and ask for permission before hand (Ticket number #104802 - June 2), do not hide, and do NOTHING to violate the rules or integrity of the game, GET THE SAME PENALTY!!!

You won't be getting a public apology. They will not be showing the evidence. Why would they show, to the whole CC Community, how they catch multi's? People will wise up if they are told how they are caught, and it would only make it much, MUCH harder for them to catch Multi's. Their is a rule that explains to you EXACTLY what is told to everyone else. "ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON". It does not matter if you use this to be a good parent, or teach geography in a class room. Why should you be allowed to go around this rule? Once people learn that they can create a second account to play their kids, then a lot of people will probably use this tactics against the hunters.

third, your entire claim of why you started the daddyron account is you started that account to play with your kids, because you didn't want to play with your kids on the point-whore account. Well, you shouldn't have publicized the usernames of your kids.

Why do I get the same penalty as someone who tries to cheat, and no possibility of appeal? Why do I get a penalty at all? Perhaps a polite letter stating ... we changed our mind, you should delete the second account?

Instead ... THEY KEPT BOTH ACCOUNTS OPEN! ... and canceled my premium account. Sounds more like a money grab! Sounds like CONQUERCLUB is cheating to get an additional $25 out of me.

To state again ...
1) I asked permission prior to setting up a second account.
I could have easily done this with out being detected if I wanted to. King Achilles said "it was fine" (ticket 104802)
2) i did not do anything to cheat. I only played my children on the second account (except for one game where someone joined before my daughter did)
3) the penalty is not fair or just
4) there is little in the form of appeal, except through a ticket, which I have done.

Please people. Start reading, and comment on the points made. If you have nothing intelligent to contribute, please don't. Writing something because of the first amendment is compelling, but still not a reason.

I am waiting for King Sam to apologize and reinstate my premium account.

The fact I submitted a ticket, asked first, was told that it was ok by King Achilles, followed King Achilles advice, did nothing what-so-ever to cheat or jeopardize the integrity of the game, still makes me a cheater subject to the same penalty as someone who deliberately cheats.

thank you. If, indeed, you sent in an e-ticket that said "I am creating a second account for myself (notice, you can't say my kids are creating more accounts on the same network, because that is allowed) so that I can play with my kids. Is this acceptable?" and then King A actually replied how you said, then I agree, you should get your premium back, but the other account should still be guested since you still can't have two accounts, it was just a miscommunication between you and King A.
