Username change

Is it possible? From what I have seen it is not, this account was created some years ago and I'd like to change the username. However if I create a new acount I may be accused of having multiple accounts. Any solution to this?

short answer: no. Long answer: there have been very isolated cases in the past where a multi has been allowed to keep the new account rather than the old one. but no.

no. it is not possible to change your username expect in the most peculiar set of circumstances. Starting a multi will do you no good, the older character is the one you can buy free, the others are banned.
You are stuck with it, maybe you can make a suggestion in the suggestions forum, although i doubt it will be followed. In the past there was the same reply; no.

sorry sir seb i beg to differ on this one if you are going to buy premium on the new account open a multi grass yourself up then buy premium for the new one. there are several cases in c and a where players have rebought premium for there multi accounts king burger is one of them and i can quote a few more if you want

that was one of the exceptions where he transfered his active account to that ungodly one that i wouldnt waste to type out everytime i accessed the site. That was an exception to the rule and all his dirty deeds under the KingBurger account were transferred to that one.

We shouldnt change site policy on the account of the 10 exceptions to the rules that happen every year should we?

Seems... with eddie2 you never really know what he seems to mean. The questions was, can you change your user name. the reply is no, not right now. Advices was giving that making a multi is not a good idea.

im not advocating that he create multis lol. just illustrating my point that, in the past, the only way has been to create multis and then sue for the new account to be allowed to buy premium.

He wouldn't be the only exception if it ends up happening. That's all that I'm saying. We all know there have been "exceptions" made on this point.

i surrender. fine, there have been exceptions. Expect a lifetime ban before becoming an exception though.

exceptions are very rare. unique circumstances which you dont have. making a multi will only get you banned

ok use a friend computer open a account post your private details then ask andy for a name change because your privacey has been breached. this is acceptible in cc rules


give this guy a break he has not played the game for ages and wants to start affresh with a new name he could off opened a multi account but does not want to break rules good on him

Indeed I have no intention of getting banned. It must be changed to either the chemist or the sculptor, however I need to be good at sketches aside from sculture get in the art school, so the latter is more of a romantic belief than a reality. Who cares about reality anyway, sculptor it is! I'll add it to my signature
