[Invites] Invite Multiple People from My Games Screen

Concise description:

• Improve the Game Invite so you can invite more then one player at once.

Specifics/Details:
For Singles

• Have a button below the game number labeled 'Invite Players'.
• Once the player clicks the button, something similar to the PM add contacts comes up.
• The player can list the names of the players he/she wishes to invite, separating each name with an enter.

For Teams

• Have buttons below the game number labeled 'Invite Players to Team 1', 'Invite Players to Team 2', ect.
• Once a players clicks the button, something similar to the PM add contacts comes up.
• The player can list the names of the players he/she wish to invite, separating each name with an enter.

Features

• The PM with the invite could list the players invited, so the other players could see who will/could be joining the game.
• It could also have the feature of inviting more players then there are spots available. Obviously, the first to join would get to play.
• The inviter could set a time limit on how much time the invite will last. It could range from 24-72, or options could be set like; 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• The current system is an annoying back and forth system, where once you invite one player, you have to go back and invite another player, and continue till all invites are sent. Much like the old PM system, which was improved.
• This new way would greatly benefit Clan Wars and Tournaments. Organizers and teams members could get the list of players and add them instantly.
• It would be a much cleaner and simpler way of inviting players.

Ok, I don't know if it's entirely possible because of the software or whatever, but it'd be really nice if instead of having to go to a separate page to invite someone to a game, there would be a way where you could just stay in the "Waiting for players" page and invite people to the games there.

When you press the "invite" button a box will pop up instead of having to go to a separate page

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

If you make a batch of games for farming, it'd be a lot quicker if you could just invite the New Recruits your friends/opponents all at the same time, instead of having to take the time to go to a separate page for every single person you want to invite.

This wuld help tourney organizers too (I'm pretty sure. I knew inviting people was a pain in my tourney).

Lol, I thought about making a script for this, I think it's doable (I had to invite for 16 4-payer games in my tourney at a time, it's annoying). So I second this suggestion.

I believe any of the TO's who do invites would be for this. I try to stick with pm's as a result. I think this is a good idea.

I remember doing a 64-player tournament and it sucked...having to go through every single person.

Also, I usually make batches of doubles games at a time, and having to go back and forth betwixt the same two pages just to invite one person is rather annoying.

Although somehow a natural step, searched in the forum and didn't find something like this.

Concise description:

• The "invite" feature allows the invitation of more than one player per slot.

Specifics/Details:

• Today "invite" feature allows the invitation of a single player only.
• I propose that the "invite" feature allows the invitation of more than one player per slot.
• Once one of the players accepts the rest are removed from the slot (and the respective PM invitation).
• The list of invited people is per slot, so players that didn't accept yet, may be included in other slots.
• If the same player is invited to a game in several slots, only a single invitation message is sent to her.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• Today, if player declines, slot become open and other (random) player may fill it, which is undesirable. This improvement will help to avoid the latter situation.
• Players that have a bunch of team partners or belong to a clan may include them, so the less busy player will join!.
• Games will fill faster.
• The user will spend less time administering the games that are waiting for players.

I like the idea, with a minor change to it...

Rather than invite the same player to several slots, invite one player per slot, but program the ability for a "contingency" invite for each slot... in the event the original invite is declined, the contingency invite gets sent for that slot.

And if you can't fill your game with one player invite and one contingency invite per slot, it's probably time to let it go random and monitor it.

In order to make running clan wars and tournaments more efficient, we should be able to invite multiple players at a time. When I click "Invite", it would be nice to see which player spots are open, and then be able to fill those in with players and send the invite to all players at once, rather than a 1 by 1 invite system.

i.e. Team 1 - john, pete, "reserved", open vs Team 2 paul, "reserved", open, open


When I go to invite, I should see and be able to fill in the fourth, seventh, and/or eighth slots and hit Send invite.
