The accused are suspected of: offensive username / offensive avatar
Comments: the username is offensive as it uses Hitler and has been ruled as offensive in past C&A report dealing with usernames that used Hitler within them. coupled with an avatar of president obama with the distinct Hitler moustache it is clear what this users intent was. referencing Hitler in a username and an avatar have already been ruled as offensive in past C&A reports, thus a name change and avatar change seem to be the proper step to eradicate this...

um... didn't my report state something about usernames using hitler having been changed in the past?

yeah... i thought so... i don't think i mentioned black in my complaint... it is simply part of his username... and it is wonderful if he is black, loves passionate oratory and has a small moustache, but using Hitler has been ruled offensive in the past for usernames and avatars. oddly enough, this user does both of them. nice try BG, the name and avatar are offensive...-the black jesus

ps Owen, Bogans will never worship you, they think Jesus wore a dress and was a hippy. Bogans cannot and will not respect those that don't smoke strong cigarettes and drink cheap beer. Though JC is almost a contender turning water into wine was pretty cool.

Guesting basically means he can't play until he pays the $25 to rejoin.

I don't find it offensive at all. I find Hitler's atrocities disgusting: most people do. Being able to detach yourself from that and have a laugh is called having a sense of humour. It is our way as humans of being able to deal with all the badness around us.
If I thought for one second that the dude was advocating Hitler and his evil idealism, then I would join the witch hunt, but all he has done is stuck a comedy moustache on the president of the United States.
Is there going to come a point in time when we can't even use the 'H' word? And aren't we being oppressive fascists like him for trying to force our views on other people who just happen to have a different sense of humour than ourselves?

I don't find it offensive either, granted I'm not Jewish. What about when it comes to racist jokes? It seems to me that would go in the "bigotry" section. Trust me, I would know.
I truly find reports like this ridiculous. It's a user name people, get over it. Don't like him? Foe. Don't wanna see his avatar? Foe. (Not positive that hides it actually, if not, use BOB and collapse it.)
Both Hitler & Stalin are pretty major historical figures, no matter your opinion about them. If he was a multi, fine and dandy, he should be banned. But forcing him to change his user name, or anyone else for that matter is ridiculous. Although I could see in some cases it would be necessary, this is not one of those cases.
If CC REALLY has a problem with 'bad' user names, they should set up a filter during account creation.

Unless the username is really inappropriate or bigoted, references to offensive materials or curse words like tittyfucker, anal-raper, etc. then we will let the username be. We can always come up of various reasons why a username is or can be offensive.
Take note, if the account is NOT an active member, let's leave it at that for the meantime. The first step we do is that we inform that user about his username. If he is not an active member, then we wait until he does or if he ever returns. I would hope that you could still live and sleep a bit comfortably if no action is taken. Just put that user on foe and move on (if that is possible for you). You are only making your own issue if you put an effort to search for that account name and contemplate on how awful that account is.
We'll take any username complaints on a case to case basis. We shall look into your report if the name is indeed not suitable or proper for being an account name in the site. If it is really not offensive, then it will be allowed. If you only made a spurious report, then it will be treated as such.
In this case, BlackHitler could have been approached and probably things could have been settled. Since the account has been busted, and I do not think he will be able to upgrade it, then let's leave it at that. This case is closed.
