Then in the eyes of your fellow christians (or the ones I've had the misfortune of knowing) you would be referred to as a backslider. And by the way, there are many who do not believe in your fairy tales. And somebody mentioned earlier that you have wasted nothing by believing, yet those who don't believe could be punished if it turns out to be real. I feel I must say that fear of punishment is no reason to believe in something. Or rather being afraid of what happens if a belief turns out to be real is not a good reason to believe in it.

Prove me wrong.

God's not about making people "fear his wrath" and crap, that's just a stereotype, kinda like the guy that knocks on your door and says, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand" or "Repent! For judgement is near!" or other garbage. I believe in God because he is always looking out for me and what's best for me. I think of God in a positive way, like how he freely gives eternal life to anyone who wants it, or how he answers prayers and such rather than the "You're all going to hell" kind of thinking. And this is probably because I already know for fact I'm going to heaven. I know I've mentioned this in another thread, but do you know who William Lane Craig is? What if we dont, and you wasted your entire life believing in fiction?

What you are describing is a Messianic Jewish synagogue. If you don't know of one in your area, try contacting "Jews for Jesus".Lionz wrote:tkr - you might say I was never a church going type...is there one you're aware of that calls Him Yahushua or that tries to honor the 7th day as a sabbath day?

then your a hypocrite and a false teacher...
The bible clearly states that believers should gather in groups to worship in his name and also teaches should someone teach something other than is written in the bible that he is a false prophet.
How do you think you can pick and choose what to obey and follow in the bible?
