Wireless Connection Problem......

So....one of the computers on my home / shop network simply WILL NOT stay connected to our wireless signal. I have tried endless BS from tech supports to forums to friends that know this crap. Nothing has worked; it simply randomly drops the connection at differing time intervals from 2 seconds to hours.

Finally, someone suggested that I play a streaming internet radio in the background to force it to stay connected.....it appears to be working...bizarre.

I would value input from any of you young (or old...lol) folks that know this crap.....

As an aside, I chose spazzradio that is owned by a CC member that I met in a public game the other day! Worked out well.....
