I didn't say he intended to say "f*ck Jesus" in his avatar. I said only that someone who didn't know him and his peculiarities might think he was saying that, and be offended by that.

Considering f*ck is bleeped out automatically in the forums, shouldn't the * be necessary for avatars with the word f*ck on them? It seems like a sneaky way to swear without getting censored. Personally I find it offensive that a majestic animal such as a giraffe should be subjected to such brutality equivalent to the cruel and unusual punishment of having a certain four-letter word that begins with f and ends with uck on top of it. "f*ck!!! giraffe" is not something to be taken lightly. I had taken steps to contact PETA and begin an investigation into such a horrible wrongdoing, but the CC mods stepped in.

As the aforementioned precedent has been set, I believe we the insulted cannot contact the Pope and have him take appropriate action against a certain owenshooter. DAMNED SHAME CC!

Wearing an image that seemingly tries to depict Jesus, TOGETHER with the signature "black jesus" IS offensive. Not to me, since I'm not religious, but to many other people. It's a NO BRAINER.

Golden Jesus was offensive to me, AFTER I learned enough. My response to that provocation is:

Some people might be offended that he's referring to Jesus as black. My response to that provocation is:

The question WAS if f*ck is offensive within an avatar (in general) and the only right ruling was (and is) - it is NOT offensive.
Is word FUСK in Calidrmr's avatar offensive? Not at all.
Is word FUСK in your avatar offensive? Oh yes. Why is it so? Because your avatar and signature (as a combination) have already been offensive to many people. New word just (significantly!) worsened the issue.

So once again - the word FUСK isn't the issue; Jesus is.
