W, Inc. [Abandoned]

Post by Victor Sullivan »

THIS CLAN HAS BEEN ABANDONED FOR ANOTHER CLAN
• Name: W, Inc.
-The W stands for "Winner" cuz we're all winners inside ;)
  • Leader: Me, Victor "Sully" Sullivan
  • Description
-Just a have-fun competitive clan that doesn't discriminate against chefs or freemiums.
  • Requirements
-Freems need to keep a game slot available for clan matches.
-Anybody of any rating may be accepted, but background checks will be done (i.e. popularity in the C&A forum, deadbeating, excessive 1-star ratings for similar reasons, etc. but forgiveness is not against my policy ;))
-This clan is exclusive (i.e. you can't be in another clan)
  • Clan Rules
-Freems need to keep a game slot open
-Appropriate behavior toward fellow and opposing clan members
  • Expectations
    -Regular involvement in the clan
-Clan members use a W, Inc. signature (which will be provided upon the establishment of this clan)
Cheers,
Sully

Sully Your clan can't be competitive if you dont enforce the one clan rule...

Not true, although you cannot get gaming privileges and you'll have a hard time finding opponents. One clan rule is recommended.

Fixed. Making it exclusive is probably for the best, then.

Would suggest doing some active recruitment to get your clan off the ground. Either by inquiring with those you've played or talked to in the forums, you'll be able to build a base of at least a few members so others will know this clan has a shot at getting going. Best of luck.

i would suggest playing like 1000 games and get a lot of playing friends before you try..

its near damn impossible to start a clan from the forums..

it has to be fromthe grounbd up.

as others have suggested and commented upon, it is much harder to start a clan that lasts than most people realize. when i started up the BpB it was all real life friends with a "wish list" of CC friends that were in other clans or not in clans at all. having a wish list can help you figure out what you are going to be about, what your identity is, and what type of players you are looking for. starting a clan with a thread in the forums may not reach the type of players you are looking for. good luck!!! the black jesus has tossed in his two cents...-the black jesus

**gets hit in the head by two pennies** Hey what the h–! Oh, hi black jesus (omg I almost shortened it to bj lol). Yeah, I'm recruiting via PM's to peeps on my friends list. My clan's gonna be the ultimate underdog  (once I get it all started up). It might take awhile to get enough people, and we may not be the greatest clan, but the point is to have some nice, clean, fun games with other clans, regardless of whether we win or not. Ah, to get the recognition of BpB, THOTA, TOFU... one can only dream ;)

Thanks for the advice guys,
Sully

this guy would probably join
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=310138

he is a pretty hellova good player I upgraded like 4 weeks ago.

he called someone a "f" word and it got out of hand, but a good guy and player looking for a clan too.

i think you just need like 8-10 ppl for a clan right?

you should be able to muster that with time and looking and talking to folks.

Thanks for all your input, but I am creating a different clan. (I already have 3 ppl including me :D) I'll be putting up a new topic as soon as I/we have come up with a clan name.

Sully
