Will Obama blame losing the House on racism?

Post by bradleybadly »

It's November 3, 2010. Obama is preparing for a trip to India to get away from the fact that his policies just cost him the House of Representatives. Will he blame those who voted for Republicans by trying to label them as racists?

More importantly, will all the socialist progressives on CC blame it on racism?

Make your prediction now.............

i'd blame it on a credible attempt by the blackies who voted for him in the first place to reverse their orginal, racist, choice and instead go with the voice of reason

the voice of 'republican'

The obvious answer is yes

It's also interesting that he's preparing to leave the country soon after the midterm election results. Guess he doesn't want to hear the reality that the country is rejecting his version of change.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

Targets Obama, but it's also true about Bush and the next..

Well the thing is, beside getting rich I think all of them want to do something good for their country, but besides the fact that no president will ever be smart enough, the matter is complicated, it's a game of probabilities, and the rules aren't clear yet.

What is wrong and what really steers the ship are the lobbies. These are the representation of the rich, and are by far more powerful than any president democrat or republican. Fix that and then we talk about presidents.

Ya.

Obama will lose (if he does - i'm not following polls) because of some combination of it being the rainy season in Obama favor currently and because his policy is not what the American people want.

Putting "racism" into the equation is just a self perpetuating argument butthurt Repubs like to mention because they feel they lost the war because the Demos played the 'black" card.

If you stop crapping on about it it will go away and become a non-issue... You people are retarded (and yes I got trolled but come on).

Socialist progressive chiming it. No if it loses the house it won't be because of racism. It'll be because American's are too short sighted to actually see what's going on in the White House and the change that has been being made. Now I'm not a fan of what Obama has done or more rather what the whole Democrats have done but it's obvious that if nothing else they're better than the Republicans. But that's like choosing between the guy that murdered 10 people, and the guy that murdered 9.

I would vote for the guy that murdered 10 people as there's greater documentation of his success.

The rules are pretty clear and it shouldn't be a matter of his own policies. The president is supposed to be a figurehead, no more, and the problem is that everyone is looking to the executive branch to fix problems.
List of duties of the Prez.-
* Preserves, protects and defends the Constitution.
* Faithfully executes the laws of the Country.
* Executes the instructions of Congress.
* May veto laws (but the veto may be overridden by Congress by a 2/3 majority) or refuse to execute them if she/he deems them unconstitutional.
* Executes the spending authorized by Congress.
* Executes the instructions of Congress when it declares war or makes rules for the military.
* Declares states of emergency and publishes regulations and executive orders.
* Creates treaties, and appoints judges and other executive heads, both with the advice and consent of the Senate.
* Has the power to grant pardons for crimes against the United States.
* Has the power to put flags at half staff.
* Is the commander in chief of the armed forces.

If he loses it should be because he violated these duties. In essence people should be looking to Congress to solve things, not the executive branch.

Are you opposed to lobbies completely? I am interested to know. What is your view on them?

Sounds true for every presidential election for both parties. It's even applicable to nearly all votes for Congress and HoR candidates for either Party.
