Ok, here is my take on everything. Get ready, because I'm putting my serious pants on.

1. Yes, the people that ran the planes into the tower were Muslim
2. No, just because they were Muslim does not mean that BEING Muslim had anything to do with it.
3. They have the legal and ethical right to build the mosque there. I have absolutely no problem with it. I don't get why people have their panties in such a knot. They think it's a trophy? I'm pretty sure all of the lives they took are enough trophies.
4. I don't care about what the girls on the View do. I love Whoopi (I've watched Sister Act too many times...) and don't care about the others, but I'm pretty sure we all know that there are totally irrational people who do stupid things like walking out on an argument like that.

He made the outrageous statement that it was Muslims who bombed the trade center and that is why no Mosque should stand and that Obama's simple statement that people have religious freedom in this country was somehow "unamerican".

Oh.. gee YOU have made such statements, so of course you cannot see the idiocy or plain hatred and utter intolerance in this issue. Terrorists who try to claim they are Muslims bombed the trade center. REAL Muslims are getting tired of having to defend their religion. I don't answer for the KKK, don't expect that Christians, as a whole, need to do so, and I don't explect every Muslim in the US to answer for Al Qaeda.

Yeah this pretty much sums up a lot. It's like the first step towards getting a closer understanding of Islam and terrorism. Lots of people here still haven't gotten above it.
