you need to make sure that the attacking routs are much more clear and go easy on the word art, at the moment i have no idea what attacks what (the arrows utterly confuse me) and i'm not even sure what things are terretories what with each territory having a different word art plastered across it
the continent names are also wierd

That probably isn't the best way to spend your time. It sounds unanimous that for this map to be accepted it needs much more profound changes than a few of the words or bigger arrows. If you want to make a map about innovative gameplay (like a lot of one-way attacks), come up with graphics that make that new type of gameplay very clear; your map makes it confusing.

Why would a map have a lot of one way connections? Circus Max answers that with a chariot race theme... the chariots always go counterclockwise around the stadium. The spaces are shaped to indicate the direction. It is all very clear.

Your answer is? A "shoot out"? A bunch of little rooms? What do these things have to do with one way attacks? There is no rational for it. I can imagine (barely) someone doing a surrealist map that is intentionally nonsensical... but this isn't it.

You've tried to do too many things here. Don't expect a sudden rush of support for the map because you change "corridor" to "tunnel". We've seen worse first maps here and I enjoyed your creativity...

plasagna... I may never get over that completely!

what has shootout to do with one-way-attacks
well theres a very strong relationship between them both:
they are direct oppossites
aint that a strong relation
too much different htings ?
some maps have: bridges, rivers, mountains, capitals,...
so ?

Okay, I can actually understand most of the map after a lot of thought, but... this sucks. I don't think it's playable, and I know I wouldn't play it.

Look, this is the most important thing at the moment, so I'll make it big :

USE A PROPER IMAGE EDITING PROGRAM. NOT WORDART.

*breathes*

Seriously, this has no chance of making it anywhere near Final Forge at the time. Take some time off. Learn to use Photoshop or GIMP. Then come back and remake the map.

That is all.

I actuall really like this map! (sorry everyone)

When I first looked at it I thought 'ah yes, it's designed around the inside of a mental asylum from the point of view of a mental person'. I'm not sure this is actually the case having read some of your responses, but I'd like it to be. I may well make my own version along those lines though.

I simply love the way it makes you question the rules and normality, not so much the gameplay right now and certainly not the graphics. In answer to your question, I would make the arrows bigger. In answer to everyone complaining about the word art, I think that helps with the whole 'mental' business.

Hang on, you're not a mental are you?
