Google Chrome Scripts

Post by chipv »

Some script can now be run in Google Chrome.
As a first example, Assault Odds can be used in Chrome.

For instructions on running scripts in Chrome:

viewtopic.php?f=59&t=73696#p2137958

Note: Chrome is limited - there are some things it just can't do so you can't run any Greasemonkey script.
Just like IE scripts, someone has to put the work in to check and convert the code.

After a quick look, it may be possible to run quite a few scripts in Chrome with minor modifications.

If this is genuinely required, I may take a look at converting others but I'm not falling into the same trap as IE.
When I first translated scripts to run in IE, I was under the impression that a lot of people wanted this, but as it turns out
the response was poor which is why no further work on making scripts run in IE has been done.

Clan Rank has been made available for Google Chrome Users.

I'm not doing any more of these unless there is some interest.
I'm curious seeing as there were a few posts asking for them, but anyway.

Ah, I didn't know this thread, but the lite version of BOB should work for chrome too, see: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=97996.

But since the amount of installs is still very low (in a bookmarklet/scriptlet you essentially 'install' it every time, so I'm responsible for 150 of the 180 installs), I guess there's still little interest in it.

Conquer Club Watcher

Post by MaartenC »

I've created a very basic Conquer Club Notifier for Google Chrome called Conquer Club Watcher. I'll update/redesign asap. But for those who don't need a nice design but just the feature:
https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fjmjejbknafijkefpkabjgpnpfmpkjnh

Features:
*Notifies when it's you're turn in one of your current games.
*Displays a list of your current games when you click on the icon.

Remarks:
You'll have to input the url of your RSS Feed before you'll be able to use the extension. To do so just click on the logo (top right of your screen) and click "Change Options". Follow the instructions and start notifying.

If you have any suggestions/bugs. Let me know!

Greetz,
Duckness

Re: CC Notifier for Google Chrome

I have just tried this and it is excellent, I am delighted there are some more tools for Google Chrome Users.

Small suggestion to colour the links so it is easy to see which ones are ready to go.

Also perhaps order the links by time remaining.

Great stuff!

watch this game and tour stats are the two that I would need before switching to chrome for CC. I would also get BOB, map rank, and the new turn counter thing if they were available, I see you already have clan rank and clickies

Edit- clan rank doesn't work correctly in chrome

there's a link in the first post that is for scripts in chrome, there it says in nice bold blue letters the 3 greasemonkey scripts available on chrome, though clan rank (one of the three) doesn't work in chrome...

Conquer Club Watcher (Google Chrome)

Post by Duckness »

A very simple extension that checks your Conquer Club games from time to time. It'll warn you when it's your turn.

You can find it here:

https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fjmjejbknafijkefpkabjgpnpfmpkjnh

I created this tool almost a year ago but I started playing Conquer Club again a few days ago. I'm going to try and maintain this simple extension so if you find any bugs or have suggestions for new features, please let me know. You can do so via the following url:
http://code.google.com/p/extendchrome/issues/list

Have fun,

I'll see what I can do when I have time! It should auto update when I changed it! ;-)

I'll get it and test how it works. If I find anything wrong with it, I'll let you know here.

Re: Conquer Club Watcher (Google Chrome)

When I click the 'rdsrds2120's Games' link, it brings me to a tab that has nothing on it other than the left menu and the top of the screen. This place:
http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?mode=next

I don't know if it was supposed to bring me to my next game based on the URL, but it does nothing if I don't have a turn. Maybe change it so that if I don't have a turn, then it goes to "My Games".

EDIT: It doesn't even work when I do have a game awaiting a turn.
