dice would not act like this--these are random numbers not cubes rolling around. There is a difference. That being said--I am fine with the way they act--some good some bad.
I do wish I could auto attack without feeling like I was going to get a screw job--here is my example from a game earlier and I think it is my worst roll ever:
26v3 down to 3v2
Lost 23 taking one with offensive dice. That one amazed me.

21v2 to 2v2 a couple days ago , wonder why I'm a sergeant right now?
That is incredible, 26v3 and 21v2 are almost inthinkable.
I must say for the most part I am happy with the dice, I defineitly see bad and good dice, but have yet to see something like that. I sure seeing my 40 stack lose to 4 would change my mind completly.

By the same token...my rank has gone from the lowest of the low to nearly lieutenant in about a week and a half or so.

I wish they'd have programmed them that way when they did the switchover - I'd be running this place by now.
(Alternatively, perhaps I have moved past what the dice do into finding the strategy that best makes use of them.)

Because it does nothing to solve the problem at hand...it only serves to inflate your post count, makes it a troll. I aim to consider the OP's question when in his thread, if you think George Washington and the Freemasons can fix the dice on CC then I apologize for not wanting to consider your point. If that is the case however, I totally missed your point and you should try again.

No. You miss the point. I feel that with the old dice system, strategy carried more weight. Far too often now, games are decided in the first round because of the unbalanced streaky nature of the new system. All I'm saying is that it was possible to rely on strategy to get you through bad dice, that is not so much the case anymore.
