Although it probably won't matter in the end, playing with 3 decks changes the hand rankings slightly.
It is actually harder to get just a high card than it is to get one pair and therefore one pair should have a lower hand ranking than a high card: http://www.pagat.com/vying/pokerprob.html

Thanks for the insight, but I think I will keep things as they are. The percentages aren't much different and it causes less confusion. Thanks, though.
