Re: Declaration of War I: Central-Eastern Europe (NEED RESER

Post by Krissan »

I'm going to give this 24 more hours. If I don't get reserves by then, I'll ask for privileges anyway and just hope for the best.

I'll take a reserve spot
You're a star-belly sneech
You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
Kiss ass while you bitch
So you can get rich

Great!

I've requested privileges for the tournament. I'm still taking reserves though.

Going to hit the bed now, been working all night long and I hardly know my own name. Hopefully I'll send out the first round info later tonight.

I'm posting the Round 1 message here too:

Welcome to the Declaration of War I tournament! The tournament starts now, and I want your round 1 declarations within 24 hours from sending this PM. In future rounds, missing the deadline will simply mean that you don't get to make attacks during that round, but for the first round, you risk being replaced if you don't send any declarations.

Tournament thread, in case you need a reminder about the rules: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=121493

PLEASE NOTE: Publicly stating your war declarations or intentions before the declaration phase is over is strictly forbidden, as is any type of alliance hinting.

I've used random.org to assign starting countries for alla participants:

France - benga
Netherlands - sonicsteve
Hungary - Jobiwan
Germany - Yojimbo28
Estonia - rishark1969
Czech Republic - ETROPAL
Italy - DJ Teflon
Latvia - Anders2004
Russia - Chewie1
Ukraine - amazzony
Lithuania - jigger1986
Poland - c224!
Slovakia - deathcomesrippin
Belgium - Genoke
Belarus - mwaser
Switzerland - happyflowers
Austria - YUT

[bigimg]http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7572/round1s.jpg[/bigimg]

Please send your war declarations by PM only, and only to me (simply replying to this PM should be fine).

Please use country names, not player names, when making the attacks (since in future rounds, players might have more than one country).

General questions can be sent either as PM or posted in the thread (only use PM if it's a question about a specific attack scenario).

Good luck everyone!

But the other plan of not being attacked worked :D

And this makes me eliminated from the tournament  Oh well, it was fun until it lasted. Good luck to others in the tournament and thanks Krissan for the tournament! =D>

Thanks for participating, glad you liked it!

If I get some more free time in the fall, I'll probably start another one if you're interested.

Also, I've updated the first post with links to the round 2 games, just a few more to finish before round 3 begins.

It's lovely that you time in the finish of the match on the day I leave town for a couple of days :D

Don't have access to my tourney-related files at the moment, will send the next round as soon as I get home.

Post by Krissan »

Guys, just wanted to make a post here: I'm terribly sorry I haven't updated this tournament like I should have. RL came in the way on a few occasions, and then I chose the lousy option to ignore the problem instead of dealing with it. The furthher I've waited with getting it going again, the more embarassing it's becoming to me and the less I want to get it going.

So, once again - I'm sorry for all the delays. I will try to get my thumb out of my *** ASAP.

No worries Krissan. RL trumps all. I haven't been able to log on in a couple months due to real life. Don't be embarrassed at all. This is just a game :)
