Why? I haven't seen that claim made against anyone else who has done precisely the same thing. I know eddie can be annoying (boy, do I know)...but he's done nothing wrong here, as long as that PM is accurate.

Notice in the PM quote Camel is laughing. which to me suggests hes joking around. He has a very diverse (or odd ) sense of humor, which is something that could do wonders for others. Maybe we need to grow a little thicker skin is all I am saying.
