Damn, you got some of my favorites in there!
And, by the way, Operation Drug War doesn't quite fit in with the rest - It's rather small and simple for team games.
I can see someone didn't want to play complicated maps... may I ask which side requested the ban on these maps? And why would the other side consent?

They're both starting out, with GG in their first challenge, and tffs in their 2nd/3rd?
It's understandable that they just want to keep it simple.

grenadier guards asked for those maps not to be used as part of the deal. fine by us. i hate the rail maps anyway and we are still playing a game on the hive map from our clan war w/ the grim reapers.... i will miss life on the inside (i.e., the supermax: prison riot map), though.

we anxiously await our opponents first set of games.

Heating up, and slowing down. Apologies about all delays through the Christmas Break. None of the chaps in the 1st Regiment have had the time to devote to the war, but we're hoping to pick up the pace. I do have a question, though - have I lost the tournament privileges? I'm trying to establish three home games, but I can't insert the tournament label. Peculiar.

A pm question was sent to you a month ago and you failed to respond. To start a war and then not properly create games and keep those informed is not what I want to see when giving out gaming privs. A number of TFFS games had to be remade due to a failure to get teams into the games. You will have to use private games to complete this war.

I am glad to see that the first post has been updated to a format that will allow the issuance of medals though. Thank you TFFS.

i am dating myself a bit here, but i immediately thought of this when i saw danryan's query:
[just before Johnny fights Daniel in the tournament]
Kreese: Sweep the leg.
[Johnny stares at him in shock]
Kreese: Do you have a problem with that?
Johnny Lawrence: No, Sensei.
Kreese: No mercy.
it would be presumptuous (and unsportsman like hubris) of me to assume that we will get to 21 shortly after round two starts, but, as far as i am concerned, if it does come to that, then we can stop at that point. as it is, this has been a long drawn out war... sometimes i forget what i am fighting for.

Indeed, we are pulling off a few victories on the home ground. As John Paul Jones once said, "We have not yet begun to fight!" :P Though his later victory was quite the fluke (if it can even be called a victory, since he no longer held his esteemed merchantman), we haven't even begun propagandic warfare, yet! ;) We're going to make a comeback. ha ha It may be 13 to 7, by the time we're done with ya!

Are we still playing/going to play the remainder of these games? I cannot keep track if we have played them all and we are just in need of an update or what is going on here. Just wondering is all.
