Each team will play on his own map (country map) when match home and on the opposite team map when it's a match away.

We will be following the real matches so some team will play 3 games at home and some only 2.

It will be 6 games 1VS1, 3 doubles, 2 triples and 1 quad per week.
Settings are : manual, seq, escalating, unlimited and no fog.

First matches of the VI NATIONS will be given tomorrow. You have to be warned about how time will be important in this tourney. All games will be played within two weeks.

VICTORY = 2-0 points
DRAW = 1-1 point

After sending games (not invitations but pm with games to join!!!), players have 24 hours to join their games.
If they can't join, they have to tell their captain about, and found a solution (give CC password maybe).
+12 hours can be given if I receive a proper pm from the captain.
If the player doen't join his game in time, the team cannot win the game. Will be 1-2 for victory, 0-2 for draw.

Team CAPTAINS must keep an eye on their team and make sure each player join their match and in the right team.
They also have to fill match shits with names of their players quickly (pm has been sent few hours ago with list to fill to captains who haven't filled it yet).
If a captain is not able to fill it before tomorrow, another player from the team is allowed to send me the list before saturday 10:00.
Once I have every list of HOME MATCH, I'll send it to the other team captain and it have to be filled right away in the next 5 hours.
If you are not sure you can do it, u can name another player of your team to do it.
If a team doesn't fill match shit in time, name will be written as the list of players appears in the team.
Captain also have to make sure each player plays in a minimum of 3 quads during the 5 weeks.
Captain can also be changed if needed during the VI NATIONS, as in real life.

Team ENGLAND is in a difficult position versus REST OF THE WORLD 2.
Once done, we will know what are the 6 teams playing the VI NATIONS.

In the afternoon, around 16:00 (when real week 3 starts), I'll send WEEK 1, then WEEK 2, and WEEK 3.
You have two weeks to play it, before real week 4 starts. It will be close Saturday, March 12th around 11:00*.

On Saturday, March 5th around 16:00, WEEK 4 and WEEK 5 will be sent.
Those games will end with the whistle of the end of real VI NATIONS tournament on Saturday, March 19th around 23:00*.

March 5th: Have been decided to change Date for sending week 4 and 5 to have a better results with time. Game will be given on Wednesday I presume (10 days to play it)

*About checking games :
1) I will post in tournament thread once I start to control games.
2) I will wrote "TIME OUT : advantage xxx" in games that are not finished when I control it.
3) If a player is playing when I check the game. I will wait the end of the action, like in real Rugby.

GENERAL ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL

'Quad Grand Slam' medal will be awarded to any team that can defeated all other teams in quads during time given (before timeout).

[spoiler=OFFICIAL RULES]1. The RBS 6 Nations Championship is contested each season over seven weekends during February, March and sometimes April by the international sides of France England, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.

2. Each team plays the other five once per season with home advantage in alternate seasons (eg England hosted France in 2003, and so France host England in 2004), giving a total of 15 matches per Championship.

3. The RBS 6 Nations Championship Trophy is presented to the team who earn the most points during the season, with 2 points being awarded for a win, and 1 point for a drawn match.
If two or more teams finish the Championship with the same number points, the winner is decided on match-points difference (subtracting match-points 'against' from match-points 'for' in all Championship matches). If there is still no winner, then it is awarded to the team who scored the most tries during the Championship.
If after all this a winner still cannot be decided then the Championship is shared between the teams.

4. If in winning the Championship a team also wins all of their five matches, they are given the title of 'Grand Slam' winner.

5. There is also the title of 'Triple Crown' competed for each season, which is awarded if a team from the 4 Home Unions (England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) beats each of the other 3 Home Unions.[/spoiler]

13/02/2011 : A PROBLEM OCCURED : Thanks to lindax who remind me that any tournament must have at least 8 teams, even if any of those is counting 6 players per team. So we have two solutions :
1 - Cancel the whole tournament
2 - Sign up 2 or 3 more team. Those teams could challenge any country in a pre-round. If they can win on home map, they will play the VI Nations instead the regular team.
Ex : A worlwide team sign up. In pre-round, it challenges FRANCE on FRANCE map. Same format than normal week. If WW team win, it plays instead team FRANCE and will represent FRANCE during the whole VI Nation tournament.
I'm waiting for a proper answer from TD. Depending their conclusion, we will cancel the tournament or add some worldwide team.

i'm from italy but i'm not premium and i have 4 slot only and full at the moment. If i can understand how it works i will leave 2 slots free for the tournament (or how many slots will be needed). The problem is no more than 4.

Will be 3 spots minimum per week. One single, one double and one triple. Including you're not participating in quad. And a week can start while last week is still playing so u'll certainly need more than 3 slots.

For the moment, I add Freemium as reserves in each team.

But if there is many premium, maybe reserves will be included in one match per week. The captain will choose wich one. It will be a kind of substitute.

Every single player knew that there were a rule about time up for each game played in this tournament. This rule has been set to be close to real rules (80 min. for a match, no more, no less).
This rule was written when I created the tournament and I told you again when the tournament started. (see spoiler in first post = "PM sent to all players").
But I hoped I had not to use it to show a winner.
It seems that team Ireland wants to complain about it.
The fact is I firstly update scores without that rules, hopping I don't have to use it. And Ireland saw first results and believe they have won the tourney.
If this rule hasn't been set, it was unfair for team who joined in time and wait for players from the opposite team, because they had less time to kill their opponents.

Without that rule, final results should be:

Option 2) Because I want to be fair, and if players ask for it, we could play a two last sets of games (like week games = 12 gamesx2 = 24 games) on France and Ireland maps. We start this "new finale" with previous score of WEEK 2 Ireland-France (10-14).

Will be 3 spots minimum per week. One single, one double and one triple. Including you're not participating in quad. And a week can start while last week is still playing so u'll certainly need more than 3 slots.

For the moment, I add Freemium as reserves in each team.
