Yeah it's rather interesting. If Obama is not a Christian he obviously wouldn't have paid attention to reverend whatshisface mad ravings.notyou2 wrote:But his pastor allegedly supported black extremists groups. What about that innuendo? Why have the paranoid right wing tards given up on that rumour and started a new one? STOP confusing me fucktards!!!!! Please take a stance and be consistent so the liberal lefties can make a case against your paranoid rumours. It's like fucking dodgeball.
That's a good question there. In 2003, Obama said he NEVER missed a service of REv wRights. Thats the problem with liars, the liesget all tangled up and become unmanageable and he can't keep track. In the end, it's just his credibility...Snorri1234 wrote:Yeah it's rather interesting. Christ instructed us to pray in private, not public.Phatscotty wrote:Player, for once you are right. But we can observe actions.....in the search for what religion Obama is, here are some observations
It's been 18 months:
1. Obama has picked out a dog, but not a church
2. Obama does not pray in public...he says "he prays alone in Air Force 1"????
It isn't. We are a nation of religious freedom, not a theocracy.Phatscotty wrote: 3. He has loudly proclaimed "America is not a Christian country"
I .. and a lot of other women, kept our maiden names after marriage. Changing documents, particularly after you have a professional reputation is a royal pain.Phatscotty wrote: 4. He kept his Muslim name, even though he quit Islam (very interesting...)
Oh I see pronoucing a name differently now means he is hiding something? Might be he got different advice on the subject.Phatscotty wrote: 5. He pronounces "Pakistan" 2 different ways, showing that he is trying/not trying to say it how everyone else says it (hiding something)
So the right wingers like to say.Phatscotty wrote: 6. The "Christian" church he did attend for 20 years is a place of Yelling Hatred and giving lifetime achievement awards to louis farakhan
uh, um... your point?Phatscotty wrote: 7. His christianity is so obvious, he says that if he meets Jesus... "I would ask, uh, um, if I was going UP or DOWN" (wtf? lol!!)
I see, so the fact that I strongly dislike church organ music means I am not a Christian? By that same logic.....Phatscotty wrote: 8. he says "The muslim call to prayer is one of the prettiest sound on earth at sunset"
He's one of those opportunist communists... like Stalin!nietzsche wrote:If he's communist, he's he supposed to be atheist?
Sure, but Bill Maher's a moron. You really want to hook up your boat to that anchor?Phatscotty wrote:Even Bill Maher says he thinks Obama is lying, which mind you, is a much more serious charge than saying "IDK"
Bill Maher says Obama is agnostic

What next Billy, you gonna want to see Obama's birth certificate?
Something like that, yes. Although he claims to be a Christian, his actions show otherwise (here's another youtube video of him preaching an ignorant view of the Bible).BigBallinStalin wrote:He's one of those opportunist communists... like Stalin!nietzsche wrote:If he's communist, he's he supposed to be atheist?

No, but he's one of the loudest voices ripping on people who think Obama is a Muslim. The point is now he has something in common with the same people he teases. They all think he's lying about being a Christian.Woodruff wrote:Sure, but Bill Maher's a moron. Yeah, me too. I just can't figure out how a dude with a Muslim name gets mistaken for a Muslim. It's a total quandary.pimpdave wrote:lol @ "muslim"

Based on his actions and rhetoric, he seems to be a deist or maybe an agnostic. He definitely wouldn't fit into an orthodox religion like Islam or Christianity.

Actually, that is what can happen to any document or belief system, and it simply demonstrates that man is a free moral agent (and that there exists within man an innate sin nature). Any person can twist anything the way they want; but that doesn't in itself, prove or disprove the original document or Founder (you would have to research the original document or founder if you wanted to do that). However you can, to a certain extent, tell if someone actually believes what he says he believes based on his words and actions; after all, "by their fruits you shall know them."notyou2 wrote:Ray Rider wrote:Something like that, yes. That's the problem with the bible. Any idiot that claims to be a christian is at liberty to interpret the bible anyway he wants, and use it to hurt others all in the name of christianity. Thanks for pointing this out Ray.

Do you try as hard as you can to avoid every point because you know that you have no valid response to it, or does it just seem to happen naturally?Phatscotty wrote:Is Mexico a religion?Woodruff wrote:So does that mean everyone in Mexico named Jesus is from the Middle East?Fischer08 wrote:Yeah, me too.
