excellent!

-Deep Purple is good but wouldn't make my top 50. And probably not my top 100 either.

-Alot of people seem to like the Allman Brothers, but I've never listened to their music.

-Clapton is great. Love the Yardbirds. Cream was my favoriteband of his. Saw him in concert a few years back.

-Led-Zeppelin is God-like and In my top 5. They were my first love. I was actually called "Zeppelin" in high school because of my obsession. Saw Jimmy Page in concert. Was fabulous.

-And Pink Floyd is maybe my favorite band in the history of music. It's a shame that most so-called floyd fans are only familiar with about 3 of the almost 20 albums they've released. Although everything after Roger Waters left the band isn't that good. Roger Waters concert was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

......and there's my opinion on your opinion. :D

Only 1 single, solitary person has mentioned Pink Floyd. Also, only 1 single, solitary person has mentioned the Sex Pistols. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!
Nobody knows. It is quite sad, really. Of course, I'm more into classical stuff. A bit of Keiko Abe here, some David Gillingham there, and round it all of with Beethoven and Bach (as long as it isn't any of Bach's dances. Those are just stupid and annoying.)
The inflation rate in Zimbabwe just hit 4 million percent. Some people say it is only 165,000, but they are just being stupid. -Scott Adams, artist and writer of Dilbert

No one has said The Who? (besides first post?)

Nobody? At least I don't think....but it couldn't be....no....people couldn't just forget...could they?

THE WHO?

You need a new song
I'll set the words up so they'll tear right at your soul
Don't take me too long
But theres a danger that I'll plagarise something old

My fingers kill me as I play my guitar
Cause I've been chewing down at my nails
My hairline ain't exactly superstar
But I've one trick that never fails
It never fails

I write the same old song with a few new lines
And everybody wants to cheer it....

No? Not ringing bells?
Ad maiora melioraque.

anyone here like Cake? i think that they are somewhat obscure, but are very good. The only weird thing is that they have very odd random lyrics that "mean something", sort of like a proverb. If you do happen to listen, a few good songs are "The distance" and Comfort Eagle".

As for the Who, I love them. Many of my friends consider them "just another British rock band". They have great songs and arte one of the best bands ever.

I think that Cake is a pretty good band. Not one of my favorites, but I do like them.

Especially that song "Stick Shifts and Safety Belts"

Great song, the distance that is. I love how Cake's songs have hidden messages and that it isnt just stupid random words, but it "means something".

Ok, so I looked up song lyrics by Cake, and the first one that stood out was "Short Skirt / Long Jacket. Seems like it's the only one I know so far.

I just made a post to call you a fascist, and then realized that might be rude. I'll go with

1-American Head Charge
2-Breaking Benjamin
3-KYO
4-Three Days Grace
5-30 Seconds to Mars

You may not like them, or you may have never heard of one of them.
But this is my top 5, (this will chage as more bands come on and old bands get worse).
