[spoiler]Legend tells of a Golden Sword that traces back to King David. With this sword, David led his troops into battle, as they fought with the help of God. Legend tells that this sword has been hidden after King David's death, to conceal it and the terror it commands. Legend tells it will bring great victory upon its holder and defeat upon the holder's enemies.[/spoiler]
You look up at your friends after reading it. Whether the legend of the sword's power is true or not, you and your friends decide this sword would be a great archeological find.
You then read the book again.
[spoiler]Legend tells of a legendary Golden Shield which King David himself held as he led his troops into battle by the grace of God. Legend tells it too was taken and hidden away after King David's death. Legend tells that it grants its holder protection from all evils and other vices of the holder's enemies.[/spoiler]

Hello, this is shieldgenerator7's 2nd tournament. It will be standard, freestyle, automatic, escalating, unlimited, sunny. There will be 32 players, 16 will search for the Golden Sword, 16 will search for the Golden Shield. It will be 1v1 escalating for each division, and then at the end, the winner of the Golden Sword will face the winner of the Golden Shield in a best of 3. Each game will be won by eliminating all opponents, or by holding the key territory by round 10. I will tell you what the key territory is when I give you your game assignments. The first map will be CCU for all games. The following games vary, but they will all be geographic maps.
When you post a reply also state whether you quest after the Golden Sword or the Golden Shield, and also your team name (e.g. "shieldgenerator7 squad" / crusaders / adventurers / whatever you want). Your team name will be used in the story line.
BONUS Rounds: In each Round 1 game, I will post a comment containing a scrambled code. The first one in each game to post a reply comment in that game will be eligible for bonus games. The bonus games do not advance you in the tournament, but the winner of the bonus rounds gets a GA Medal! Now, only post reply comments in the games that you're playing in. That way only the people who are playing the game can get into the bonus rounds. When we have all players for the bonus rounds, we will have a 1v1 tournament all the way to the top. If you get eliminated from the real tournament, but was able to get into the bonus rounds, you can still play the bonus rounds.

STORY
Golden Sword[spoiler]Round 1
spy goes for the athletic fields while GhoStedar makes his way into the library, talking with the librarian for awhile. Then while spy attacks in the athletic area and takes over the liberal arts department, GhoStedar slowly gains control of the library. He then makes a get away with the legendary book, and he and his team, Canadian Samurai, move out.
mickunited333 and Cyclone_23x battle it out for the Administration building, trying to get the principle on their side. After a counterargument by mickunited333, Cyclone_23x decides to retire to the library for a bit. Then after a confrontation in the dorms, Cyclone_23x goes all out on mickunited333 and attacks brutally, dealing a fatal blow to mickunited333. With no more opposition, Cyclone_23x and his Legion of Cyclones take off on their adventure with the legendary book.
After a long strung out battle between jgazaille and the TheFissk, jgazaille ended up top dog and got away with the legendary book. Before heading out on their adventure, jgazaille gathered with his team and called themselves The Sword's Still in the Stone.
robertodevinal explores the administration building while RT71139 takes the gym. Using his advantage from the gymnasium, RT71139 takes the library and from there eliminates robertodevinal, who did put up a good fight. With the legendary book in hand, the Bad News Bears go out in search of the Golden Sword.
morleyjoe finds the legendary book. He then sees GreenBaize and trying to hide his monumental find, he quickly makes him leave the library. However, GreenBaize does not take this lightly and pushes himself back into the library. morleyjoe tries to push him again, but gets slammed up against the wall and GreenBaize kicks him out of the library and starts to work on getting him expelled, which he does successfully. GreenBaize gathers with his team, and they become the Victors of Azeroth.
Gabriel13 shoved past IR1SH ACE to get into the library so IR1SH ACE decided to go to the liberal arts department. He then took over the football field. But after a clean stroke of luck, Gabriel13 attacked from the dorms and wiped out IR1SH ACE's monopoly in athletics. Now IR1SH ACE is holding on trying to survive. Alas, Gabriel13 strong arms him and wins. Taking off with the legendary book, Gabriel13's team ASIS moves on.
chapcrap got into a campus-wide brawl with M.K.C88-90 and his buddies, so the principle made them take it outside, so they met in the parking lot, and M.K.C88-90 slaughtered chapcrap. Seeing the potential threat from chapcrap gone, M.K.C88-90 and his friends took off with the legendary book. This, my friends, is the start of DFAB.
While bobafart applies for a scholarship, arno30 explores the archives and finds the legendary book. But knowing he might need so scientific gadgets, arno30 goes to the Mathematics department, where he meets bobafart, and they discuss mathematics and science. Without his knowing, bobafart then sneaks into the library and takes the book of the shelf and runs with it. When arno30 returns the next morning, he is disappointed to find that it is gone. Now that bobafart has the book, he assembled his team together called the Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's.
Round 2
The first clue from the legendary book lead The Legion of Cyclones to Antartica. But upon reaching it, they came under attack from The Victors of Azeroth. They fought an intense battle on the snow drifts of the south pole. Reaching for the next clue, The Victors of Azeroth paraded to the very center of the south pole to gain the knwoledge they needed. But the Legion of Cyclones tore them off. They fought back, giving the Legion of Cyclones a run for their money. But then the Legion of Cyclones stormed through the south pole and the Victors of Azeroth froze to death in the very same snow drifts. Having found the next clue, the Legion of Cyclones rise into the air to go to their next destination.
Tromping through the jungles of Brazil, The Sword's Still in the Stone thrashed at the leaves and the trees to find the next clue. Soon they discovered the presence of DFAB, and knew they were in trouble. So they disguised themselves as natives and drew their swords. They attacked DFAB, who drew their pocket knives and fought back with brilliant skill. They both knew the other was after the same thing they were, so they were both very determined to win. DFAB fought well, but The Sword's Still in the Stone outnumbered them and eliminated them. Having found the next clue, The Sword's Still in the Stone continues their adventure.
The Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's followed the first clue to Iberia, to a city called Granada in the country of Spain. Just about to find the second clue, ASIS intercepts and steals it from them. They laugh valiantly and run off to Portugal, where they planned to escape the continent by boat. But before they could get very far, The Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's used their ice cream catapults and creamed ASIS. Victorious, the Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's knabbed the clue from ASIS and left them stuck in a gooey mess as they themselves took off on ASIS' boats in Portugal.
Haiti was the next stop for the Canadian Samurai. Also following the first clue, the Bad News Bears went to Haiti, but their boat sprang a leak in the middle of the ocean and they got stranded on an island. The Canadian Samurai got the next clue with no resistence at all, and advance to find the next clue.
Round 3
The Legion of Cyclones follow the clue to Sydney, Australia. They walk around a bit, asking tourists where the Opera House is. While they are walking, they come across The Sword's Still in the Stone. They then launch an attack on them and take the Opera House. The Sword's Still in the Stone then launched a strong counter offensive and blew the cyclones out of the building. Then the Legion of Cyclones used their wind power and blew their opposers down. Seriously injured by fallen trees and concussions, The Sword's Still in the Stone died honorably. At their burial, their descendants pierced their swords through their tombstones in honor of their memory; and to this day, the swords are still in the stones. The Legion of Cyclones gained control of the Opera House, and found the next clue inside. Together, they flew up into the atmosphere to find the resting place of the Golden Sword.
Canadian Samurai and Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's met at Malta to battle for the next clue. The Canadian Samurais whipped out their swords and fought the Golden Swords of Ben and Jerry's. Then the Ben and Jerrys used their ice cream blaster and coated the Canadian Samurais with ice cream. They still fought hard, but the ice cream made them slower and they were eventually defeated. Finding the next clue, Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's move out.
Round 4
Next, the Golden Sword of Ben and Jerry's go to Japan to find the location of the Golden Sword. Their golden swords were ok, but definitely not as good as the one they were about to find. The went right up to the stone in which the Golden Sword stood, and tried to pull it out. But then the Legion of Cyclones entered the scene, and blew the competition away. Using their ice cream blasters, the Ben and Jerrys were able to splat some the cyclones, but were blown away helplessly. Cyclone_23x then triumphantly pulls the Golden Sword out of the stone and claims victory! The Legion of Cyclones go out to find the keeper of the Golden Shield.[/spoiler]
Golden Shield[spoiler]Round 1
qwertylpc conquers the athletic department while rmjw10 goes for the administration offices. This goes on for awhile until qwertylpc gets sick of rmjw10's administrative efforts and tries to get him fired frrom being principle. Then rmjw10 questions qwertylpc's athletic capabilites, which leads to qwertylpc over exerting himself and successfully firing rmjw10. Later, qwertylpc goes to the library, finds the legendary book, and together with his team, they become qwertylpc the goodness.
mr. CD and Mittalmar battle it out in the cafeteria, flinging food at each other and everyone starts joining in. mr. CD doesn't mind getting in food fights right now because he knows one of his buddies has the legendary book that Mittalmar wants. mr. CD easily kept Mittalmar from getting to the library, and in the end found a way to expel him from the school. So mr. CD then got the book from one of his buddies, and together Chosen Destiny rode off into the sunset.
Steve The Mighty takes the athletic fields and the dorms while trying to keep withmejulie out of the science department. withmejulie tries to escape from Steve The Mighty, but he's too mighty and withmejulie gets pulverized, but not without a fight. In the end, Steve The Mighty takes the legendary book and levels up to become Steve the Poison Dwarf.
jvt gathers with his buddies in the apartment buildings. Meanwhile, Honky_D is spending some quality time emersing himself in books. Then after jvt attacks Honky_D in the athletic department, it becomes a race to take the administrative building. Honky_D uses a strong attack against jvt, but jvt's counterstrike was enough to knock Honky_D to the ground. Having won the battle, jvt and his new team, jvt, ride off into the sunset with the legendary book.
mcshanester29 goes to the library and finds the legendary book. Then he distracts DJENRE in other places so that he will not find it. Then after mcshanester29 takes control of the library and the liberal arts department, he successfully sneaks past DJENRE with the legendary book. Well on their way to their destination, mcshanester29 dubs his team The Conquering Spuds.
deRaNGEDjUnKIE found the legendary book, and accidentally spilled the beans to dumhic. dumhic then, realizing its potential, went to grab it from deRaNGEDjUnKIE, who fended him off. But deterined not to taken aback that easily, dumhic launched a counterstrike and forced deRaNGEDjUnKIE to give up the book. Then deRaNGEDjUnKIE knabbed the book and ran off with it. dumhic was unable to stop him. deRaNGEDjUnKIE's adventure has just begun.
montyghan focuses on controlling the dorms and liberal arts centers while unbeknownst to him Leverpuller has already found the legendary book. But once he found out, montyghan waltz right into the library and knabbed the legendary book and made Leverpuller leave campus. montyghan and his Men of Ghan now start their adventure.
Remo Williams and NotNowKato have many schoolyard fights around campus, neither realizing that a book in Remo William's possession is the legendary book. NotNowKato then realizes what Remo Williams has and pursues it, but Remo Williams tries to keep it from him. Using his advanced skill, Remo Williams defeats NotNowKato and takes the legendary book. With his group, The Avenger, he takes off for the first clue.
Round 2
deRaNGEDjUnKIE encounters jvt in the outback of Australia and immediately picks on him. jvt picks back a little, and then it turns into a full-out battle with heavy casualties on both sides. The battle was fought well and hard by both sides, but in the end, jvt outnumbered deRaNGEDjUnKIE and defeated him. Finding the next clue, jvt continues.
The legendary book lead Steve The Posion Dwarf to Luxembourg. There, he met the Men of Ghan. He decided to play a few pranks on them, and they counteracted with a few pranks as well. Then Steve The Posion Dwarf went on an undercover attack. While the Men of Ghan were trying to catch him, Steve the Posion Dwarf picked them off one by one and then posioned their water supply, which eventually killed them all. Steve the Posion Dwarf then found the next clue and went on with his journey.
The Conquering Spuds heads off to the UK to find the next clue, and upon arrival find their opponent, qwertylpc the goodness. After an intense and evenly matched battle, The Conquering Spuds fried qwertylpc the goodness, and moved on with the next clue.
Following the first clue to Hong Kong, The Avenger searches for the second clue. Then Chosen Destiny arrives, determined to get to the second clue first. At first, they tried to negotiate a settlement between themselves, finally deciding that they would both join forces and find the Golden Shield together. But then one member of Chosen Destiny fired a shot, and The Avenger quickly and hastily responded, resulting in an all out battle between the two. The settlement was torn to shreds, and Chosen Destiny was overwhelmed with the loss of their political masterpiece. The Avenger used too much force and wiped out Chosen Destiny. Having the next clue all to themselves, The Avenger moves on to the next destination.
Round 3
jvt went to the Great Lakes to find the next clue hidden somewhere beneath the depths of Lake Superior. On his diving voyage, he encountered a funny looking little thing swimming in the water. It was Steve the Posion Drawf! Quickly, jvt fired a shot at Steve the Posion Drawf, nearly hitting him. This grabbed Steve's attention, so he came over to jvt and tugged at jvt's diving suit. Knowing full well what would happen to him if he lost his diving suit, and quite surprised that Steve didn't need one, jvt lunged back at Steve and got him off his suit. But before Steve was pushed away, he managed to cut a rip in jvt's diving suit, and then he scratched jvt with his posion stalactite. But now that Steve was far enough away to cease being a menace for the moment, yet close enough to be in range, jvt fired another shot at Steve, hitting his stalactite, which shattered all over Steve's face. Steve lost hold of himself and sank to the bottom, and jvt looked away. Having found the next clue, jvt surfaced and continued his quest for the Golden Shield.
The Avenger was on his way to the next clue, when all of a sudden he found his worst enemy, his arch nemesis. He was completely unware, and so the Avenger easily destroyed him. Having taken vengeance finally, the Avenger decided he no longer needed the Golden Sword, but just then hhis avenged nemesis, who wasn't dead yet, surprised him with a sword thrust and the Avenger fell. Meanwhile, the Conquering Spuds found the clue with ease and went off to find the Golden Shield.
Round 4
jvt took a plane to Alabama, so he could find the keeper of the Golden Shield. He arrived at the right place, and knocked at the door. Someone from within asked him, "What do you seek?" Before jvt could answer, The Conquering Spuds came up behind him and answered, "I seek the Golden Shield." The answer from behind the door, "Many seek it, but only one may find it." Then the door opened to behold the Keeper of the Golden Shield! jvt and the Conquering Spuds bowed in politeness, as the Keeper made his speech. But before he could begin, jvt made a surprise attack on the Conquering Spuds, and battle ensued. It was very costly for the Conquering Spuds, but when jvt was about to smite them, the poison that had scratched him weakened him and he collasped. The Conquering Spuds then turned to the Keeper, asking permission to hold the Golden Shield. "No, you are not ready." replied the Keeper of the Golden Shield. Then, out of rage, the Conquering Spuds pushed the Keeper aside and entered the chamber of the Golden Shield. They grabbed it, and triumphantly held it. The Conquering Spuds set out to find the stone of the Golden Sword.[/spoiler]
FINALS!
[spoiler]While on their way to the other relic, the Legion of Cyclones crossed paths with the Conquering Spuds. Realizing each other had the valuable relic they both desired, the fought for the right to have them, winner take all. Using gale force winds, the Cyclones ripped through a third of the spud's army, ripping them to shreds. Using another blast of wind power channeled through the Golden Sword, the cyclones aimed at destroying the rest of the spuds, but they had the Golden Shield! It protected them, but to a limited extent. It allowed the winds to destroy another third of their army. "We should have never taken it without permission!" cried mcshanester29, the leader. The Cyclones managed to destroy the spuds and their leader with the final blow. Cyclone_23x grabs the Golden Shield, and with the Golden Sword, he leads his Legion of Cyclones onto victory.[/spoiler]
