If I am using any version after the "Dec 7, 2010 22:03" version, the left menu appear and than disappear before I can move back the mouse to select something when the "Hide Menu" option is "On".

Ah, I think the size of something on the left was adjusted by lack's changes, which caused this to occur. Thanks for noticing, I'll make it a bit more flexible.
BOB doesn't auto-refresh under Firefox 4. I've got the latest version and it works on initial map load, but it doesn't update as I take my turn short of a full F5 refresh.

Sherk knows & will fix in next update!
<Juan_Bottom>You're like the Barry Bonds of drinking. You don't need the practice you just do it because you like it.
I just ran into the Hide Menu problem today, and, unless it is my imagination, I found that I have better luck if I try to access the left menu lower down the page, such as over the BOB Menu, rather than over the Game Menu.

I think it's your imagination. It works occasionally (about 1 in 30-40) anywhere, then not again, even if you use exactly the same spot.

Yes, it is a bit flaky. It may have more to do with the differing speeds of the machines I use at work and home.

The trick is finding a way to turn it off from a menu that does too good a job of hiding.

I keep a second window open, that isn't in a game.

That works if you have Hide Menu set to Game, so the menu isn't hidden on other pages. I happened to have a window open like that, which helped me when I was testing the reported problem, but once you set it to Hide Menu: On and all your pages are reloaded, you are stuck.
yeah yeah, I need to fix it soon. But the problem is that there is an area between what BOB sees as the white and green part, and if your mouse is detected there, it will hide the green part. So moving quite fast with your mouse could do the trick too.
Btw, that seems to be almost impossible when there is no content in the green part, I guess there could be some truth in what ender said.
i managed it directly after a log-in, it seems to take a few minutes to re-hide then for me...lol...especially when i have new chat because for some reason "game chat" affects the hide menu sometimes. or have somebody hit your wall or send you a PM, then menu won't hide...

So the idiot that thought his April Fools trick was funny, has caused mayhem. You can imagine the screaming that will be going on in the clan challenges (if last weeks hitch is anything to go by).
just upgraded the version, it doesn't detect the settings correctly so it's not perfect today. But most things should work. And I tried to do something about the hide menu too, but haven't tested it properly yet.
BTW, hide menu still isn't quite there. With the cursor left most, then moving back to the right, it fails just at the point it reaches the menu boxes. If you're lucky enough to catch it, then it fails, once you move up, within the menu.
