Edoc has gone just about as far as he can go though. You are just going to be playing the whole either we lynch you and don't find out who the two scums are (which isn't exactly getting a whole lot of discussion) or you lynch mandy and he goes, reducing numbers for the scums.
I have no problem with him winning the game and it benefits me so I have no problem going with his plan. Strike and Commander have both expressed their desire to not win. Who would care to try another position?
I'd rather keep Edoc around and kicking for 1 more day until we get rid of GT. For me, the lynch is between GT and Nag, but since Sully has been kind, lets hope that GT is not bulletproof and go with Nag.

this is certainly a much stronger position then joining up and getting part of the winning team. I certainly will not recruit anyone tonight who would be interested in voting for me tomorrow.

VS lied about freezie. Who knows whether he is lying about win conditions.
So I am going to ask...what's wrong with lynching one cult (nag) and killing the recruiter (tonka) to gain a townie (victor)? Any recruitment tonka does tonight would be offset by the fact victor becomes town upon his death so scum will lose two cults including their recruiter which would take away their only advantage. Unless you think victor is lying but just said tonka's role correctly...doomyoshi freezie has not proven that vs lied but vs did prove that he was telling the truth about tonka. So I believe him at this point.

the part where I recruit the guy with the swords is probably a big flaw in that plan.

Problem: He wants you dead. Likely makes him unrecruitable. And you can't do that before he hands off a sword.

And you are sure that falko is the only town killinfg role? Or that you can even recruit him when your death probably constitutes a large portion of his win condition?

So, VS proved he was lying about players losing their abilities or GT is bluffing. Otherwise the swords would be useless and my original hypothesis stands as even more likely (that of them having a doctor and trying to sucker in our NK).
He also wins with the cult. Something Something Something about Davy Jones's heart and whatever it was that happened to Will Turner at the end of the movies. So by all means, encourage that one guys.

Freezie was recruited Night 3, the same night he investigated mandy. Hence, he still got a result.
This game is starting to make my head spin. I can hardly figure out what is going on in this clusterf*ck.
Lynch nag or tonk? I have a feeling tonk is protecting nag, his cult recruiter by drawing attention. Mandy and Edoc can chill for a night. What's important now is that we severely hinder the cult. Between a sword and a lynch we can put a dent in them if we don't find Jones.
I think Edoc should give us the names right now. He's going to win, right now it's all a matter of when.

Edoc giving you guys the names would be the best way for him to not win. He should do nothing of the sort unless we stick to the game plan, which is lynching mandy.

I am not talking about that. I mean why would GT threaten to recruit the guy with the swords if the swords won't actually help him? Or is he just threatening to take away the town's NK?

If you don't beleive I still got my ability, I am by all means willing to investigate whoever you want.
Even though I beleive there is no captain beside Davey and Sparrow out there..I am willing to investigate VS/Tonka if needed.
What is lost in all of this is that along with the cluster of cult related activities, the scums still have night kills. By all means, if town makes a bad lynch today (ie not mandy) we wake up tomorrow with 11. And still 3 scums. With a new cult leader (either falko or the guy who gets the sword) you still have a guaranteed cult lynch on the day, which is 10. Kill brings you down to 9. 4 cult, 3 Mafia, 2 Town.
I agree that Town members should certainly try and stick this one out!

Wouldn't actually prove anything unless we have a tracker. Your results given the limited number of captains would be predictable.

Says the cult that doesn't want to lose strength.
Even if he doesn't we have a leg on the cult. Lynch nag/tonk, NK the other, investigate VS.
Actually, I don't care about the names anymore. They would help but I'm not worried about them when we can lynch Mandy tomorrow. Unvote vote nag
Tonk, there's a problem with your thinking. If we give edoc the sword we can endgame him the next day if he isn't endgamed tonight. Goodbye cult.
