Well my pm said that he would become normal if I targeted him. That could potentially mean that the town gains an extra power role. Or it could just be that he loses his killing abilities. My role pm never states what 'normal' entails.

This is the best defense I have from you. Unfortunately it also borderlines on WIFOM. I dunno. This does make sense, but maybe you have ulterior motives. I won't hammer you, but I cannot find any exceptionally good reasons to continue to protect you either. My role is vague and doesn't ensure you will become a townie. In the end it might be best if you are lynched, or maybe the town is making a huge loss here. We really don't know until the lynch or the night.

I wasn't flipflopping. I was trying to protect him. I only said that you guys can lynch him if you want (because he is most likely anti-town anyway and there is no guarantee that my role will help town). My hoping for his lynch was an exaggeration made out of frustration because shaggy was attacking me when I was trying to help him.
And what will happen if he does turn up town? Will you attack me
because I was defending a TOWNIE? Don't be so shortsighted. The only way I should receive any flak from this is if he turns up scum. Besides, killing me would only mean you have one less resource in finding the actual cannibal.
