the question i have to ask is this
1: Say he DID point dump, which i dont think would do, and it is his second offense, then wouldn't he have a 1 month ban from the forums, or have to pay again to get back on?
2: Blitz had 2 violations, and hes not banned, or even reset? Just a so called vacation?

Both times i was involved in violations where i was reset, offense 1, and offense 2... i was reset and had to pay....the 2nd time i had a posting vacation as well...

The next time i was told i received a permanent ban?

I think it would be easiest to sway team CC if we asked them to put themselves in Comm's position. But even that would be a hard feat for anyone, because he is by far one of the most passionate players on this site. As he has pointed out, he admits when he makes a mistake (which doesn't happen often). He is brutally honest, which ineffably contradicts the behavior of a point dumper.

Now, let's assume he is guilty. It's difficult to be black and white when the accused is such a high-caliber player.

The guy gave THOTA a good name. He gave all of CC a good name. I don't think the punishment fits the crime when the persona of the accused is considered. Yes, that doesn't happen in real life court cases, but is this a real life court case? The answer is a resounding "no." CC is a business, not a government, and it can act according to different regulations.

it doesn't matter what you think, it is what can be proven and the IP check showed it came from his regular IP and he has denied he or anyone else accessed his account. that is impossible. everyone coming in here and defending his honour/reputation is not going to change the outcome of this or get the case reopened. you have not provided any new evidence to show why this should be looked into again. in blitz's case, people provided logs, screen shots, chat, game numbers, etc, to show that the case was not fully investigated, and thus it was opened again. in this thread everyone is saying, "i know this online guy as well as i know any of my real life friends and he would never do this, so he must be innocent despite what the IP check says." that isn't going to work. show some evidence, that is the only thing that is going to work..-the black perry mason

@owenshooter: I don't think that you have all the facts. It would not be good for the site's reputation to treat one of their most well liked customers as guilty until proven innocent, and yet they are doing just that. This discussion is still open because they admitted that it doesn't add up. I am talking to Commander a few times a day and he is doing his best to provide any evidence needed, including game logs so that they can compare his playing style against whoever took over his account (hacked) and tarnished his reputation. If you want to give your opinion, you're welcome to, but you're completely wrong in this case. Public opinion can change anything if given enough time, and it has many times in the past. Those that knew him, but are unable to provide any evidence, should still be able to support him in a GD thread. Your excuse would work in C&A maybe, but here? Many other people are trying to help by comparing game logs as well. Yes, we are vouching for him as a player, but we are also trying to prove his innocence any way that we can. If this happened to you, I doubt you would still be so cut and dry with your comments. If you bothered to follow any of these ongoing discussions concerning Commander, you would know that not only can and IP check be fooled, but that this would be completely out of character for him. What would he have to gain? Spend years and years building up his reputation, suddenly go crazy and suicide in a ton of games, and then come back demanding that he be treated as innocent? I'm not sure when the point dumping happened, but on a close day just before that thing, he communicated very well in our team game.. see below.. the game chat can tell you how much he cares to win. it really makes no sense for him to intentionally dump his points....

I'm risking a game by revealing our team chat in a still going game, but who cares about a game when an extraordinary is gonna be lost by this community.

I do not know if he is guilty and I do not really care. But there are three facts:

a) The best for Comanders6 life is to have a permanent ban and stop spending all his time playing that damn game. It is only a GAME.

you just have no logic do you? If i know how to get a lower score legally why would i do it illegally? Seriously there is no logical argument as to why you would want to do that unless you want to be banned which he clearly doesn't based on what he has done to say he wants to stay and try to prove his innocence.

Anyway your post are never a help to anything and clearly you misunderstood the entire point of that old thread so yes my post is helping. If it is helping shed light to you and what that that old thread was about or helping shed light to others about your inability to understand simple logic I don't know but it is doing one of them.

ljex is right,mate - that first 'point dump' wasn't a point dump at all, just a consequence of chasing medals.

The only issues here are (a) whether he dumped himself this time or whether someone with a grudge or some ulterior motive was able to hack his account / use a Trojan / replicate his ip and log in, and (b) how should CC react to this hacking if it is possible.

His first "point-drop" is not a point dump.
Because
a) It is not recorded in his paddle
b) he played all the games - just lost heck of a points in doing so

I think it is ridiculous to just think that a great player like commander would point dump. even if he wanted to have his score lowered, I'm sure a veteran like him can find many ways to make it look unintentional. players like commander sacrifice a good part of the fun in order to maintain a high rank. so is it possible that he just wanted to drop points? I don't think so.

Creating 65 speed games and deadbeating from all of them is point dumping. You cannot argue that. Whatever his (or not his) intention was - facts are here, games were created and dumped, and point balance of CC has been shattered and it is considered as a gross site system abuse. Reputation has nothing to do with that.

I do not know if he is guilty and I do not really care. But there are three facts:

a) The best for Comanders6 life is to have a permanent ban and stop spending all his time playing that damn game. It is only a GAME.
b) A permanent ban is a completely unfair and unprofessional (I can add more adjectives here but I want to be polite) punishment. No way the point dumbing is worse than multi accounts
c) If the ban is not permanent it really does not worth such a lot time from such a lot people. Someone give 25$ and close that worthless case.

Commander wanted me to say:

So apparently he agrees with all of the above.
