Now we're down to the real scandal. I don't know why Obama senior didn't settle this years ago. I'm not favoring population behavioral management, I'm simply saying it exists in a few places around the world, mostly due to forces of natural selection rather than human intervention. Island gigantism is a recognized natural phenomenon and there are other forms of island evolution that exist. Almost without fail one will see English falling over themselves to defend institutional power against personal insult, even when they have no personal interest in the matter. One doesn't see a similar behavioral trait in Italians or French or Spanish, in fact, quite the opposite, where tearing down the sanctity of leaders at every level and for any reason is a pasttime.
