LoL. You really looked through the games well Marty. 4 Escalating games Marty, 2 of them were on conquest maps so irrelevant and 1 was on a small doubles map with lots of big bonuses so the cards would never come into play.

You'd be surprised to see how often we were saved by cards. A pity that particular game went as it did.

Certainly is.

I actually held my breath as a reflex when I saw how close it looked. Now that kind of instinctive reaction works out fine if your watching the end of the 100m final, or someone is running up to take a penalty kick...but for an online risk tournament lasting weeks...not so good.

A7-A6 split 2-2, F18 trims F19 which is then hit by F20 (adv 0 unless F18 failed to trim in which case adv 1 coz of the threat from F17) F20 can then hit G20 (adv all) unless F20 is down to 3 in which case stop. V.important turn. Get it wrong and you'll never play another game for TOFU

To my best guess, it will have an end with a score of TOFU 22 - 19 BOFM, maybe TOFU 21 - 20 BOFM...
As TOFU is mentioned to be one of thickest walls around, very very hard even impossible to get broken into pieces, yea we got so close...
As BOFM, we all are very proud of being a side in such a great battle...
This is our inner clan issue, however we strongly believe BOFM progressed well and not sets a new line for herself for sure.
Good luck TOFU in upcoming cc2 event against EMPIRE.
Cheers

really just a few days ago it looked like you were going to win this with either 22 or 21 games...maybe i missed something in the fog but thats what it looked like

Do you forfeit? ;) This one is still pretty close. Damn hard. You guys progressed a ton since the last year, especially your dice tricks ;).

Yapp, русский язык, it's right. And you are correct about вместо (instead) because we use для only in context of for somebody/something.

I would take a forfeit! Haha.

Still too close to call. I think this will end 21-20 one way or the other. There are 2-3 games left that could be swung I think.

It's nothing serious - simply he wanted to get on with his life and not have to log into a game site every day and waste hours of a life that's precious (I think we can all relate to that). He did however leave rather abruptly, with 10 active games of which a couple constitute part of this challenge. His colleagues will be concluding these games for him and SB will not be entered into any further clan games.

I mention this because I have just read Genoke's comment in Waterloo - a little jibe at SB having been sat for. Well I'd like to keep this challenge friendly, honest and above board.

In this respect may we enquire after Gallant Pellham? Is he OK? I notice HA is sitting for him. If GP is unable to play his own turns then he shouldn't be entered into any Batch 2 games (which he currently is). Just thought this should be brought to your attention.

Thanks for your understanding.

CoF

I was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. I was suffering from an Aortic Aneurysm, having been ruptured on the football field, according to my doctors, I had a less that 3% chance of Survival. I'm proud to report that I have been through in house therapy and learned to walk again, and now find myself at the Helm of the Fat Mermaid.
Thanks to Crew and battlefield opponents as well for continuing the fight without pause. For an old Pyrate like myself, it's better to die at sea, than to swing from the gallows.
Thanks For a hell of a war, guys.

Thanks for your concern over my recent health problems. I am home, resting and recovering as well, or better than the doctors expected, keep up the prayers, thanks COF, for the sportsmanship.

Great to hear from you and to know you're back on the road to recovery. Your scurvy shipmates had brought us up-to-date on what had happened and they did the right thing re games you were in. Unfortunately for us they've been doing the right thing in all their games as well - this is going to be one very close call.

And your recent experience looks like it was one very close call too. Godspeed GP.

In interest of fairness, and as a public health message, have included some chat from one of our TLO matches.

2011-06-01 07:31:36 - GallantPellham [team]: Please don't tell people the truth, am embarrassed about having complications from breast augmentation and penis reduction surgery on the same day.
2011-06-01 07:33:36 - GallantPellham [team]: To make things worse Dr told me to eat tofu to reduce my chance of prostate cancer, first he pops a finger up the exit now he wants me to be a weak vegetarian
2011-06-01 07:33:57 - GallantPellham [team]: last month, was not my best ever. Though is always a good day/week/month/year when you wake up.

Welcome back GP, you small dicked, big titty confused vegetarian old man! Love from the pirates, just not in a gay way(well with obvious exceptions, not trying to out anyone here). Good to have you back bro
